Having the menu planned out and not having to prepare the meals gives you a great... start on changing your eating habits to being vegan and leaving the foods you like - like steak and lamb - behind. I love the ideas and creativeness of each dish. The food is fresh and many colors with each dish. The flavor is exactly what you... would think of with vegan food. There are a lot of crunchy things and a lot of endive and beets. Basically, it tasted like Iwas eating right from the earth. This is the best! So easy to get variety in my diet and have healthy meals available when I am too busy to cook (I typically... work 50 hours/wk). I have honestly saved money getting these meals weekly as I am eating out much less and also have decreasedmy food waste significantly. The food is very good but even better than that, it is filling! My husband, Tom, and I had been moving toward a more plant-based diet. We both had been trying to lose a few pounds, and get... cholesterol and blood pressure under better control. We became interested in Sweet Pea after seeing TV commercials, and decidedto begin the weight loss program this past February. We found the Sweet Pea meals to be convenient, delicious and there is greatvariety in choices. Under the guidance of our nutritionist, Jen, we have both lost weight - almost 50 pounds between the 2 ofus. Tom no longer needs to take his blood pressure medication, and my cholesterol number dropped by 50 points. Having finishedthe weight loss program, we?re continuing to order meals through Sweet Pea, and setting up daily meal plans based on everythingwe?re learning about plant-based eating and good nutrition.
