Middle of the pack restaurant in the college town, serving a range of "core" dishes, i.e. burgers, wings, pizzas, and occasional... steaks. Our food came out at the same time. Everything was warm. Not hot, nor cold, just warm. We waited for some time forthem. We suspected the staff held them back under the heat lamp while they gathered the order together. The Caesars salad withchicken was "bland", the fish sandwich was borderline cold, tasted dry. The steaks lacked flavor and a bit dry. The "awardedwinning" wings were very dry, like they had time to soak up the heat under under the lamp. The place has a charms of a collegehangout and has a menu that covers some bases that could serve as a joint for older crowds to gather on a parentweekend. Service was adequate for the weekday's night. Read more

We visited The Distillery around 5:30pm so there almost no tables seated when we got there. So we got our food REALLY quickly... after order which was nice. Our server was amazing (I think his name was Steven; Super attentive, friendly, and right there withrefills for me and my family. The food tasted great. I ordered the Rice Bowl. If I had to pick something to criticize it wouldbe that my entree said it came with tortilla chips. To my surprise, it came out with 4 chips placed around the rim of the bowland felt like I would have like more. My wife had the gyro bowl and my son ordered their Monday special (cheese burger andfries). They both said that their meals were great as well. As far as the appearances are concerned, they get 2 thumbs up fromme. The place looked really clean and well kept. I enjoyed having my voice of about 4 TVs to looks at while we were eating. Iwould love to revisit this establishment at a regular time to how service compares. Read more

We had a great time. It was a last minute birthday celebration and the staff was great. Our server, Karena, was amazing. We had... 7 kids 12 and under and 9 adults. She took it all in stride! She got the dinner items right and all the checks. Kudos to yougirl!???????? We will be back and ask for her. Also, food was amazing but we were too hungry to take pictures. ???? Read more

We used to love coming here for date night, we were so excited to come back from Syracuse to this location. Unfortunately this... experience will be our last. The frickles were half the portion they used to be, both originally and when the bartender had thekitchen remake them. Then our food came out and clearly my wrap was sitting in a window with either a broken lamp, or no lampbecause my wrap and fries were both not even warm but cold. I didn’t bother bugging the bartender because we already mademention of the frickles. Im so sad, we’ll miss this place! Not to mention wing prices just plummeted locally and this place isselling TEN FOR $20.50!!! Outrageous! Read more

Distillery has always been the “Hang out” Happy Hour go to spot. Their 2 for 1 Margaritas and Rum Punch hit the spot. But... those Buffalo Garlic Parm Wings with loaded fries and a side of Ranch will bring all the Boys to the Yard. ???????????? It’s aSports Bar so of course it gets loud (to be expected) but I recommend this place if you’re in the mood for a lively atmospherewith good food and drinks. Read more

Horrible!!! Served me cold chicken dip . No apologies from management very unprofessional. When I returned it management warmed... it up in the microwave instead of having them remake it. I could of made this right at home and put it in the microwave. Saveyour 14$ for gas! Read more

Pros: *Wings were a great size and perfectly crispy *Loaded fries were very good Cons: *Place was pretty dirty. Menu was... sticky and gross. Floor underneath the table was pretty horrifying. *Wings were $20 for 10! Would've been perfect if theyweren't very salty *Ranch that came with the fries did not taste good. Just tasted like Red Hot mixed with Ranch. Recommend justasking for regular Ranch for the fries. *Paid $2 for a side of apple sauce and it was super tiny. It was served in a dipping cuplol Read more

I visited The Distillery on Mt Hope last night, and it was a very disturbing experience. First thing I noticed while waiting to... be seated, my wife and I were in line with many other people. As we were being seated, we were taken to the back area near thekitchen where other people were also seated. I declined a center table because we preferred a booth which left the center tableopen. With the amount of people that were waiting, I was sure someone would be seated there. The area were in was all africanamerican, and some may say coincidence but I disagree. All the people waiting in line were Caucasian. None of the were seated inthe back. About 30min later another black couple walks in and where are they seated? In the back with the rest of us. Honestly,it felt segregated. Needless to say they aren't the only restaurants using this "Sit Them Together" code. I ordered a buffaloChicken wrap, and as you can see from the pic, the only thing I didnt get was chicken (the chunks are Bleu Cheese). Its was justhorrible. Read more
