The owners Regina and Doc have established a great facility both for lodging and for fine dining and casual meals. We took... advantage of staying in the top of the park suite that is two en-suite with a living room area fireplace and completelyfurnished kitchen area. Access to the fourth floor by elevator. Rachel the housekeeper would be checking with us each morningfor any services we required. The suite was clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious for the rate. The restaurant has a finedining area and a casual/sports bar area. Doc is the chef who has worked in various fine restaurant around the world and hisfood shows that by his preparation and the great taste. Highly recommend the place. Read more

Doc's is our local spot when we are at our house in Vermont. Great food and awesome "town tavern" vibe with great local beers... and gourmet food that exceeds typical bar food. Rigatoni is amazing. Pet friendly inside and out and a great patio for warmevenings. Read more

Chris at Doc's Tavern is just amazing! He hustles like crazy but takes the time to check in frequently to make sure your needs... are met. The food is delicious as well. Read more

My wife and I stayed here only one night on our way to Middlebury and it was sensational, wish we had 3 more nights. Every... aspect of the Huntington House meets you with a warm welcome and the people are what make this little nook so special. Thetavern had great food and wide selection of seasonal drinks and wines. The room was clean, warm and every little detail madeyou feel right at home. I am always hesitant to stay in these types of places but if we are ever in need of accommodations inthis general area of Vermont again, this is where we will be. Great overall experience and I would highly recommend to anyoneand everyone... Read more

My daughter was planning on having her wedding at this inn , but do to very poor planning on the owner behalf we backed out. We... couldn?t get our deposit back so we used the money for our wedding guest to stay ay the inn while we had wedding elsewhere .Regina (owner) has very bad customer relation skills she was just absolutely very bitter the entire time added a lot ofunnecessary stress . All other inns in the area were so accommodating to guest ! Plenty of places to stay in this area that willappreciate the business and welcome you ! Rooms need maintenance start with some updating and paint . Loud hum noise in bedroomkeeps you awake . Traffic is crazy for side street .huge pothole outside the door with just a cone In it ! Absolute fire in the tavern kitchen after a long day of riding. I would just ask that they get a bike rack so you can sit... outside on their patio and eat/drink while watching the bikes. Current solution for storing bikes isn?t that friendly Read more

We stayed at the Inn for a couple nights. It was quaint. Rooms were clean but needed some maintenance attention (peeling... wallpaper, tp holder was falling off wall). We ate at Docs Tavern also. It was a select menu. The food was good, not great. Butoverall, where else can you crash and eat in Rochester, VT? Options are very limited. Read more

Discovered Docs Tavern for dinner. The converted barn offers a warm, publike atmosphere. We opted to sit on the patio. There... was plenty of shade and there were fans going. There are numerous options available for the burgers including a variety ofcheeses, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, and fried egg. The desserts were excellent. We had the Chocolate Fondant andBread & Butter pudding. The service was very good. Overall a very enjoyable meal. Read more
