We have been there many times and the food is generally good. The last time we were there I noticed an easily missed sign that... said they were charging 3.5 % for using a credit card. They have been in business long enough to price the cost in. I realize itdoesn't add a lot but on principle we left without ordering and went somewhere else. On this day they lost a $60 sale over a $2charge and I am not sure if we will be back. Read more
Excellent Meal, great service! Prime Rib had a steak texture but prime rib flavor and it was full of flavor. The Steak Au... Poirve was also full of flavor. Mash potatoes are creamy and buttery. Cream of Broccoli soup was spoon standing thick andcheesy. Everything homemade and oh so good! Read more

Excellent dinner. We arrived around 5 pm. Service was exceptional. Maryland Crab Cakes nice bits of crab and Remoulade were... perfect. We both had the BBQ Ribs, mash potatoes and the hot Bacon Spinach Salad. The salad is one of thr best we have had. The ribs were fall off the bone, melt in your mouth good. Potatoes were just as good. Finished with Creme Brule. Everything ishomemade and so very good. We plan on trying more of the menu. Read more
Visiting some friends and decided to go to chances. Bartenders were great, friendly great drinks and a reasonable price. Dinner... was good, little over done on my fish but they were thinner had the combo platter. But it was really busy everyone else's wasgood mine was good will try again. Read more
In a single word Disappointing. Went with another couple who also have a similar opinion. Started with high hopes for this place... which has a great history and a ?sort of? supper club feel. The old fashions were good. And yes we did have cheese spread andbread sticks on the table. My wife had the Ribs and shrimp, I order the special King size Prime Rib We both had soup as astarter. The cheese-broccoli was good but the French pinion was the first disappointment of the evening. Very surprising thatthere was no cheese on the soup. As for the main courses? The ribs were dry and the shrimp had a tempura type coating. The kingsize prime rim e looked amazing but was very tough, and was served bone-in which was at least 20% of the steak. No Aus Ju orhorse radish was serve or offered. Both meals came with potatoes which we fine but to picky the meal presentation was less thaneye appealing, something you would expect for the this type of place and for the price of the meal. I the end all four of usdiscussed that we were all disappointed and that we probably won?t be going back. We wish them all the best in these tough timesas a small business owner myself I understand the struggles but this didn?t appear to be a staffing issue, I think they justdidn?t execute a good experience for us. One more note: they charge a fee to use a credit card and they do provide a suggestedtip chart which is a great thing, but the tip was calculated on the meal cost plus the credit card fee and tax?.
