I love eating Polish food even though I have to stay away from the pork since I don't eat it. That kind of limits me as to what... I can get from the menu, but I can still have a good time and order other dishes. I started with the dill soup which I thoughtwas okay. Good soup, just not in love with it. I do recommend though. After we both reviewed the menu, my friend and I gotperogies. They have a few different flavors, and I went with the potato and spinach with cheese. I guess you can get them panfried or boiled? Pan fried only for me! You can also get onions on top and something else, but I passed on both. The food herewas really good, but compared to other polish restaurants, not the greatest. They do try hard here and are a small business, soI gave them an extra star for that. The prices here are fair, lots to choose from and overall a good solid meal. Also, theiropen for breakfast? There was a very homey feel to Val's. The dumpling soup was absolutely fabulous! Below are pictures of the soup and goulash. I... will be honest I was not a fan of the Schnitzel which I ordered as it caught my eye on the menu, but it just wasn't for mepersonally. Again really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Read more
Excellent food and great service. The bread was super fresh and great with the dill pickle soup. I've never had goulash with... pork, only beef, but it was really good over the potato pancake. The combination plate was fantastic. The pierogi were perfectlyfried. The beef and potato ones were so good. Everything was so good and we will be back for sure. Read more
It's cold out today and I was hungry for some really terrific food so I went to Val's Polish Kitchen and ordered takeout... including a Val's Combo and some Potato Pierogis. Everything was freshly prepared, and absolutely DELICIOUS! Val's food islike having a home cooked meal and is a great value for price. I will be back very soon! :) Read more
