The rolls were hard as hockey pucks. I ordered the filet medium rare and it arrived after twenty minutes medium to medium well.... My husband and I were lucky enough to enjoy dinner here 2 nights in a row. You feel welcome as soon as you cross the threshold.... Rustic feel with amazing food. I enjoyed the Rockfish my first night and then the authentic bratwurst my second. I felt like Iwas in Germany! Coupled with the German beer choices, this was amazing. I can't speak highly enough of our bartender, Tara, whowas friendly, attentive, and just all around great. If you are in Rock Hall, make sure you stop by The Bay Wolf. We can't waitto come back! We’ve come to Bay Wolf a number of times over five years. It’s in a deconsecrated church and really a family restaurant.... Typical cooking, except for lobsters which are first rate and the genial servers. Having reserved preferred seats in the“cubby” and come some 100 miles we were looking forward to our dinner. We arrived 5 minutes early. We were met by a porcinefloor manager of repulsive vulgarity. Once orange polo with food stains down the front, dirty hands, face ugly as a skate, andattitude. Possibly drunk. He had crossed our names out of the reservation book and seated someone else at our table. When wetried to question him he threw 2 menus on an uncleaned table and hustled to the kitchen or mensroom. Why would a comfortablemainstay restaurant hire a butt wipe whose skills are probably mobbing slop and stealing for a front man? You’ll get greatshrimp and lobsters at Bay Wolf and maybe a side of abuse. Read more
This is a nice little local restaurant. Proteins were very well prepared. Love the take out. We could ride our bike back to... our boat and drink our own wine. It has a bar as well for a more social atmosphere. Read more
Wonderful, homey atmosphere! Back in the day it was a church. Beautiful stained glass windows and Austrian theme decor. ... Waitress was very friendly and on top of all of our requests. All the food was excellent!!! Had salmon with lobster dill sauce,white rice and zucchini. Everything was well cooked, delicious, and served hot! One of the best meals I've ever had! The food was so good! We were the only ones in the restaraunt when it first opened on a weekday. I was not expecting much to be... honest. I was so wrong! Definitely one of the best restaurants in town the food is always good. I love that they have specials every night Saturday is... prime rib night and it was really good, it came out the perfect temperature and was tender. If you like a cool atmosphere sit inthe bar area. Read more
