This place is great! We stayed in the Farm House — the property is right on a Marina on the Chesapeake Bay. There’s many... amenities including; biking, kayaking, yard games, a pool, a restaurant, and breakfast every morning to name a few. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. We wanted to take the kayaks out early and in the morning, breakfast sandwiches were in... the refrigerator waiting for us. We reserved a picnic table and brought crabs back from Ford's. We sat eating crabs, watchingheron and Osprey. Perfect Day! Crabs were amazing too! Read more
We did not stay at the inn, we had dinner for four at the restaurant. We had reservations. We were seated at a round table that... would’ve easily held at least eight people. Since there were only four of us, it made conversation very difficult. The shrimpbisque was delicious. My salmon was tasty but came out AFTER everybody else had nearly finished their entrées. Our serveradmitted she had put in the wrong item. Mistakes happen. After dinner, we were given dessert menus and waited over 15 minutesfor somebody to take our dessert order. I do understand that the restaurant was full and you have a limited number of servers,but at the prices you charge there needs to be improvement. All this would’ve been acceptable except for the fact that we wereseated by the back door on an extremely HOT evening. The door was probably 2 1/2 to 3 feet from my right shoulder. The bus girlwent in and out that door probably 20 times (probably more) and left the door OPEN each time WHILE she was outside. Each time,one of us at the table would get up and close the door! Next time she went out, she’d leave it open again! The manager evenwent outside and left the door open while she talked to a patron. Meanwhile, we were blasted with hot air. So ridiculous, not tomention what it does to your cooling costs. It became a joke between us and the tables around us. It’s a lovely setting andthe food was good. Our service was iffy. The evening was just uncomfortable and we felt very disrespected. Like I said before,mistakes happened and each one of these may have been acceptable and overlooked by us had they occurred in isolation.Unfortunately, it was a quadruple whammy. Read more
The only problem you'll have after a stay at the Osprey Point Inn is the re-entry to real life after you get home. This is the... perfect place for a couple to regain that feeling of joined souls. The breakfast alone is worth the price of the stay. This is agreat value. Read more
Sherry, the general manager, was so helpful & accommodating of us both as new boat owners & parents of small children planning... an ambitious bay journey. The property was absolutely gorgeous, lovely landscaping especially. Our family enjoyed the quaintpool & idyllic settings all around. We will definitely be back & highly recommend! Read more
Only did the restaurant. And WOW! Visiting from the West and this was the most enjoyable dinner! Service was excellent and... the food...get outta here! We all had different things, Filet Mignon..damn huge and good...crab cakes dinner, only if you lovecrab...pork chop, wow what was that experience...and the Salmon well soooo good! Good drink pours, wine was magnificent and thequaint room and view sealed the deal. Make it a dinner to plan on, reservation for sure! Read more
We had a lovely weekend getaway. We stayed at the Annex and loved the porch and rocking chairs overlooking the bay. Our room... was spacious and beautifully appointed. We had dinner at the Inn Restaurant on Saturday night- the service and food were topnotch! We are already planning our next trip. Read more
The Inn at Osprey Point surpassed our expectations. Views and breezes off the Bay were wonderful on the balcony of the Annex. ... Breakfast was outstanding, service was excellent. Makes for a perfect getaway spot. Read more
