I was impressed with the really pretty young lady who greeted us, (class/professionalism) She gave us an organized run down of... the specials and made it a smooth ordering process because it was our first time. The establishment/bathrooms were clean (loveeee). The food was really good! Sweet tea, perfect! I had the chicken breast sandwich, my hubby had ???? wings, and the3yr old kids meal shrimp ????. She usually peels off the fried batter, but not this time. Baby girl ate the whole skrimpzlol. The prices were easy on the pockets. Only flaw, we waited super long for our food. Aug 2022: I am updating my review after being contacted to make the previous order right... I received two wingette combos and... one whole wings combo, all with fried okra. The orders were fried perfectly and there were garnishes of pickles included. Thesweet tea was good too. Helen's went the extra mile for customer satisfaction and that stands out the most! (Pics of correctedorder included) July 2022: 2 Stars... We ordered through a delivery service and our order arrived within the estimated time.The order was correct except one blue cheese was missing and I asked for lemon in the tea but they may not have had it. Weordered two wingette combos with fried okra, one plain and one hot, a wing combo, and a side of fried okra. Everything wasovercooked... Everything was salty. It wasn't enjoyable at all. **Edit 5/6/2022** Only editing to add that we came back for a second visit and the food may have been even better this time?if... that?s possible. Tried the Chicken and Waffle and the Wingettes this time (along with another Chicken Breast Sandwich). TheWingettes were super juicy and the waffle was out-of-this-world. The lady taking our order asked me if I get cheese on mysandwich. I told her I don?t. She said she wanted me to try it and if I didn?t love it she?d buy my next one. She won?t bespending any money. It?s hard to believe that a single slice of cheese can make such a different but something about it justworked?with the Hella Hot Sauce, Bleu Cheese, and Pickles. Just amazing. We have been here twice and I?ve left extremely happyboth times. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat in Rock Hill. **Original Review** Everything we orderedwas well-prepared, freshly-cooked, and absolutely delicious. We had the Chicken Sandwich, Whole Wings (3), and Gizzards. Weopted for the Hella Hot Sauce on all 3. We loved it but it isn?t for the Hot Sauce Rookie. The heat is intense but it is full offlavor. The hours are a little short right now but as long as you plan your visit you?ll be fine. Everything is cooked toorder so allow about 30 minutes for your order if you?re having chicken. A guy came in behind us and ordered shrimp. His orderwas up in under 10 minutes so the wait time seems to be consistent with cook times for what they offer. Will definitely beback! Read more
Incredible!! Delicious hot (think hot pepper sauce) friend chicken, lobster tail and a $4 Waffle that is to die for. Perfectly... cooked waffle and thick like in Belgium but better. Great new place!!! Read more
I didn?t even get to take pictures of the all the food because it was so good. I personally love hot food and her spices take my... tastebuds to another level. I can?t go past her hot. She?s super sweet and very friendly. The food is always made fresh and shewill make you want to come back for more. I love that this is black owned and she has a story behind the restaurant! Everythingis great here. I first went and tried a few things. We didn?t even leave the parking lot before the shrimp was gone and thewings was up next. Literally demolished her food so disrespectful and loved ever but of it ! Definitely coming back for more. Read more
Just happen to be riding past here and decided to stop...... so glad I did. I got the Seafood platter with catfish, fried okra,... fried shrimp and fried lobster tail with an order of fried chicken gizzards. Absolutely bussing!!!! And reasonably priced. Idefinitely will be back and I highly recommend them. They've been open about a month and they're based out of Nashville and haveanother location in Atlanta as well. Check them out y'all.
