Man fire!!! Huge lover of island food, and although the Mac salad wasnt on point, everything else was, i got their pork plate... which tasted exactly like kalua pork. My mom got the grilled chicken and rice with a side of teriyaki. And my we got a pup-pattyfor my Pomeranian. First off let me say if thats your beef with no seasoning, I cant wait to go back and try your burgers withall the things!!! The pork plate was exactly what i wanted, slow roasted goodness, perfect rice. I forgot to even try theteriyaki sauce that comes with it! Im not crazy about their mac salad, as Ive eat a lot of island grandmothers mac, buteverything else made up for it! Even my dog wanted to go back! And the prices are super reasonable even compared to inlandpricing it is ? chefs kiss 10/10 gonna smash one of their burgers soon! Read more
I hate to only give 2 stars as i rarely ever do, but this meal, is not teriyaki! In no way, shape or form does it have the taste... of teriyaki. Its simply chicken with rice.and a bland version at that! They dont offer snowcones so dont get excited about thierwebsite. I bought a lemon pomegranate ice cream, very small portion but good taste. I got the pulled pork sandwich. D E L I C I O U S! It has Hawaiian teriyaki mixed in? definitely the best pulled pork I?ve had.... My only suggestion would be for the coleslaw to come in a little container with the meal or just have it as an option forcostumers. Read more
Food was good, overall. Chicken and macaroni salad were not too exciting, not bad, however not memorable either. However the... pork and slaw were really very good. The option of spicy teriyaki was appreciated as well. Portions were large and plenty. Theonline ordering was easy and food was ready on time. I'd recommend using the online ordering during supper hours as thelineup/queue gets long and confusing. We're just tourists here, but explore our state quite a bit and will be back. Read more
This little food cart is conveniently close to a main parking lot, bathrooms, and the general center hub of Rockaway. The menu... is simple and straightforward. Rice, chicken or beef teriyaki, mac salad, assortment of chips and drinks. I thought the pricewas right and the a meat generous amount. Delicious! Also, the owner was super nice and had great customer service. The waittime for food is very short! Note for the diehard foodie or true Islander: you may not think it is "authentic". My Hawaiianhusband would have nit picked over the rice. But for most everyone else, it will be just delicious. Read more
Holy moly so nummy. Got the pork bowls and that pork was SO moist and flavorful. 10/10 would go again
