Stopped in for lunch for the first time. Service was great and the food was delicious and plentiful.
Fantastic juicy ribs and sausage. Great fresh sauce. Classic Texas comfort BBQ with no frills.
I visited on Jan 2nd 2021 @ about 11:30 am. The service was great and I even smelled BBQ smoke when I entered the building. When... I want BBQ "I want BBQ"!!!! Sadly what I got was seemingly boiled meat that was placed in the pit after it was done. The threestars is for the service.. not the food. Sorry, but I don't see smoke rings tho. Read more
I got the sampler and I'm so glad I did. The sides are on point. Matter of fact I bought the rest of their corn casserole. I... mean you won't like the corn casserole lol. Just kidding. Felt like the actual meat itself was bland, and so did the rest of myfamily.unfortunately I was pretty disappointed about chopped beef and brisket. My son loved barbecue chili dog or whatever itwas called. All the sides were amazing. Best green beans I've ever had in my life! Read more
I ordered a pound of sausage and a brisket sandwich and asked for some extra BBQ sauce and they said they would have to charge... me 2.25 for half a cup of BBQ. I've never heard of a BBQ place charging you extra for a little bit more sauce! 2.25 will makeyou well over a gallon of BBQ sauce! Will not be back!!!!!!! Since you decided to write back now!! Brett's BBQ gives you allthe sauce you want to go for FREE!! So does rockdale meat market for FREE! You guys are the only ones charging 2.25 for half acup of BBQ sauce! Friendly staff and clean but the food lacked for us. Got brisket, sausage link, tater salad and banana pudding. Best things were... the sausage and banana pudding; a stretch considering they taste like store bought sausage and standard banana pudding with waytoo many cookies. Update - Both my husband and I wound up sick as a dog. Not sure exact food that might've done it (meat,dessert or potato salad). Go elsewhere. Read more
The service was great, they were very attentive and nice. The only reason for three stars is the chopped beef sandwich I got was... not that good. The chop is a basic item that a BBQ place should be able to make good. Read more
