Pleasantly surprised! I was back home visiting my family in Rockford and my grandma insisted we go here for lunch. She has... been going here for years and absolutely loves it and raves all the time about it. I got a burger and fries and wow?it wasdelicious! The bun was yummy, the fries were so good, and the meat was juice. Also, The ranch was clearly homemade and amazingtoo!! Anyways, it was so good we came back again before I had to leave town, lol. ***UPDATE: 6-23-22 Changing my review. They have a computer system where all the waitresses huddle around and press buttons on... the screen. I was greated, sat at a booth, and waited for 15 minutes before my order was taken. Not going to dine in any more. Iam gonna call ahead. Prior review: Come here at least once a week. Weekend crowd is busy so I come on a Monday or Wednesday.Specials are great, their soup is the best around, always hot and good. Portions are generous, service with a smile. Read more
I had the veggie omelet and it was a bit overcooked for my liking. I sent it back and the second was much better. No complaints... from staff and the rest of my meal was great. I used to bring my mom here years ago and had not been back after she passed. Washappy to see the renovation and upgrades. So much cleaner and nicer now. I will be back with friends. Read more

It was crowded but we got seated right away. Nice atmosphere. I ordered the pumpkin ???? pancakes and something was wrong with... the batter. It was bad. I can't believe they gave them to me looking the way they did. Very bad. The spinach and feta omelet wasokay. Fruit was great! Our waitress gave me a new stack of pumpkin pancakes and those were better. Read more
