Very clean, friendly staff, the fettuccine Alfredo was delicious and so was the spaghetti, the pizza smelled and looked... wonderful (that will be a next trip meal). Prices are reasonable, and they have daily specials. Family friendly. Read more
Honest review! The pizza is not bad and we do order there a decent amount of times. We ordered through Grub Hub and we orders a... pepperoni pizza and a sausage and jalapeño pizza and when we received it the sausage and jalapeño pizza had pineapple andonions on it. I called Gerry?s pizza and they kept telling me they didn?t have that order slip and after sitting on the phonefor 15 min and them telling me over and over that they never had that order, after they finally found it, they said that grubhub messed up the order. I asked them to send me the order so I can call grub hub and actually have something to show them thatthey messed up and the refused to send me anything, they said it?s not their fault and ?I?ll have better luck next time?. Disappointed: This place is clearly a favorite of those who visit regularly but it could use some help with organization. At... 5:48 p.m. I phoned in my order for 2 pizzas (one cheese only and the other pepperoni) and an order of spaghetti. I was told myorder would be ready in 25-30 minutes. I arrived at the restaurant and paid for my order at 6:20 p.m. and was told I needed towait until my order was ready. The gentleman in front of me placed an order at the counter when he arrived so we both sat downto wait. Several people came in to sit down to eat and a few others arrived to pick up carry out orders. The entrance to therestaurant was packed. Finally after sitting (directly in front of the counter) for 25 minutes, I asked for someone to pleasecheck on my order. After a couple of minutes, I received my pizzas and spaghetti--over ONE HOUR after I'd phoned in my order. If I hadn't already paid, I'd probably have walked out long before. As I walked to my car, the gentleman who placed his orderat the counter when I arrived, walked out with his food too! When I got home, the cheese only pizza was overcooked and hadlarge areas on the edge that had no cheese at all. Because the pizza was overcooked, the majority of the edges of the pizzawhere inedible. Very disappointing. The pepperoni pizza was fine--as was the spaghetti. I know that there many businesses areexperiencing a shortage of workers but there were many people working at this restaurant. I could see at least 5 people in thekitchen as well as 5-6 people working the front of the restaurant. This was our second time ordering from Gerry's. The firsttime went well and the food tasted good. This time was a fail and I have no desire to return--especially when I know there areother locally owned Italian restaurants in the area with better customer service. Read more
I order a Hungry Man with extra cheese pepperoni and sausage not complaining about the inflated price but the items I didn?t get... extra cheese and sausage but charged for it. I told the manager he told me he would credit me five bucks the pizza wasn?tenjoyable a one topping and I felt the manager was Insensitive thinking someone trying to Hustle. Just what we needed after a very long day of traveling home during our road trip. We were able to order our favorites and get it... delivered to our hotel. Super yummy pizza and the special salad. Got a great pizza from here on a Sunday night. First time have it and loved the quality of it. The meat was fresh and the... sauce was on par to some of the other pizza restaurants that I have reviewed. It's like an old school Chicago pizza joint. My husband and I had the stuffed cheese pizza pie and it was delicious! We had a very friendly waitress and the wait time was... short. We had plenty of left overs and it was about $22 dollars for a 16 in. At the end we got a punch card as well. Great place(: Read more
