This is a great place for lunch. The food is so good. I love the whole menu. My favorite is the MOO PEEP OINK ENCHILADA and... the triple salsa appetizer. Their salsas are so great and they have some really interesting ones. I come here with myvegetarian friends and there is always something good they can order too. This is a must try! Read more
I decided I was craving some Lucha -I just had to do carry out-drive up tonight. Food is so good! Salsa is very fresh, full of... flavor and delicious! Ordered the chips with queso, Lucha Fresca salsa and Elote corn dip. All so tasty and filling. Ordered thechimichanga which is as big as your head! Full of rice, meat, and pure deliciousness! I have so much left over for lunchtomorrow, or snacking some more tonight! I think this place should be packed every night-if you aren’t eating here or takingyour meal to go-you are missing out!! The Baja Mahi Mahi tacos were AMAZING!! So much flavor and perfectly charred chunks of fish. I like that they don’t double up... the corn tortillas and that they are grilled/toasted as well. Rice and beans were really good. Love the outdoor seating on highbalcony. Very nice atmosphere. I believe you can’t go wrong with anything you order off their menu. Great food. Highlyrecommend! I went to the Rockford Raceway today and was looking for vegan food nearby. I was bummed to miss my chance to check out Pig... Minds but I did a quick Google search and found Lucha Cantina in the recommendations. This place was amazing. They have daiyavegan cheese. Cozy outdoor seating with string lights. My server, Jake was SO nice and knowledgeable about their menu. I askedhim about vegan options and right away he knew the good stuff. Meant to take more pics but my phone was dead and I was starving.Really enjoyed the chips, wide selection of salsa. Also I was able to pay with my phone which was very neat and modern age????.Can't wait to go again! Read more
We were very short on time when we came to Lucha and received a very quick and helpful service. Our attendant made excellent... recommendations that saved us money and allowed us to try 3 different tacos that were fantastic. I especially loved the fish(wahoo) tacos. Tortilla shells were perfectly grilled and the sauce was out of this world. Sangria was fabulous too. Not sure ifand when we would be back in Rockford but I would always make a detour to eat here.
