A go-to place in the Rockford area! Definitely a bit more pricey than your typical Mexican restaurant but the quality and... quantity of the food is well worth it! They have drink specials every day of the week and service is usually pretty good. Almostalways have left overs that are just as good the next day! Definitely recommend trying this place out. The food was great and our server was really friendly. My only complaint was. I think they forgot about us once they seated us.... We had to ask for drinks a few times and their were table coming in after us who were getting drinks and their orders taken. However once they realized our server was apologetic and provided great service. We really enjoyed our meal and woulddefinitely come back. Read more
Good restaurant for the family, staff looks a little unhappy but the service is good. The food is tasty. We got the pitcher of margarita, paradilla and guacamole. The paradilla is well worth it, so much food for two people, and the... cactus was really well cooked. Amazing. It stayed warm the whole time due to how they bring it out. The margaritas were perfect!I was feeling good by the end of the night. The service was good and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Oh! I stopped for lunch, service was ok, and food was average. I think my attitude towards this place may be altered because the... music was so loud I could not hear/understand the waitress or my lunch friends. I asked the waitress if the music could beturned down and she just gave me a cold stare and confused look. It was not an enjoyable lunch. Because of the loud music I willnot return! Background music would have been nice, lunch was not intended to be at a concert. I did return twice, once for a friend's birthday celebration and again with my family for lunch. Things were completelydifferent! Music was soft and enjoyable, service was excellent and friendly and the food was top notch. I guess this proves wecan all have a bad day.
