One of the best buffets in Rockford. I've been going here for years and it always hits the spot. The staff are friendly and... polite; and the atmosphere is pleasant. Their fish tank is also clean, which is something you don't see in most places inRockford. If you're looking to chill and scarf down 3 or 4 plates of food, this is where you wanna go. There was a time when going to an all you can eat Chinese buffet was a great treat. Well not at this place. The food is well...... They must have their own recipe for General TSO's chicken, because I have never had it like that before... Try other places ifyou want better food. Read more
Some of the items looked and tasted dry. Chicken selection poor. One of the meats of the day looked burnt. Way over priced foer... qaulity of the food. Fish looked dry. Like it been sitting since lunch hour start 2 hrs ago. Fish they have in aquarium way tobig for tanks. Only good thing they don't use the same mop water to mop floor that they use in the kitchen as the floor was notgreasy. Read more
Friendly staff and good parking are the 2 stars! Cost too high for options available! Too many spicy and seafood options - not... enough regular items. Crab ragoon was AWFUL! To me crab ragoon is the deciding factor in a good vs bad buffet. Read more
Oriental buffet could do so much better on there selection of veggies, I wanted a salad so bad and I was really excited to go... make it until I get up there and realize it wasn?t what I was expecting at all, they definitely could of had FRESH leafy greensinstead of a head of lettuce just pulled apart (I can do that at home for cheaper) half chopped carrots, no labels on anydressing, and sandwich tomato slices.. I?m just saying anyone that wants to actually eat a salad wouldn?t eat it here.. myfavorite thing was the fried rice and general tso chicken, they weren?t bad at all on the hot cooked food.. just could use someadjustments to the salad bar definitely Read more
I have been eating here for over twenty years, and I keep coming back, but not more than a few times a year. It's not the best... restaurant in town by any means. The food is all fine, but I don't think it's super (at least lately), although it's my son'sfavorite restaurant. To be fair, this business model requires a certain level of traffic to operate at peak performance, andwith the pandemic issues, that's rather difficult to do right now. I like that you can walk in and get seated right away andthat there is a variety of food to please everyone. In addition to the expected Asian food, there is also fish, pizza, chickennuggets, and other options. The variety makes it nice for any group that wants to go together without having to really agree onthe menu. I have been here with a lot of different groups, and no one has left hungry. This is a little big place it looks small from the outside, but inside is pretty spacious. It's not a super buffet but for the... location it serves enough to keep you occupied. The food was good and fresh that's all you can ask for at a buffet. The issuethat needs to address is the big mirror in back. It needs to be cleaned thoroughly not just part of it. Read more
