The food was average. The service was excellent. Atmosphere hasn't changed in 50 years. I was a cook at Red Lobster back in 1989... in Niles. I go every year on my birthday. They always give me a free dessert for my birthday. Yearly tradition for the past 23years. Thanks Red Lobster! Read more

Endless shrimp = endless deliciousness. The service was excellent and our server was very attentive. The red argentine shrimp... was a new surprise that tastes a lot like lobster. In fact I asked for some melted butter. Reason for 4 stars on service wasbecause wait time was very long for seating and the hostess was stressed and a little less than friendly (we had an hour toobserve while waiting for a table). Didn't realize they had call ahead seating but we will definitely utilize that next trip. Read more

Wonderful time!! The endless shrimp was perfect and the lobster was so fresh. I wish I could remember the servers name because... she was AMAZING(it started with a T and was very unique she even wrote it down for us but i totally blanked)- she was so onpoint and had the menu memorized for being there only 3 months her service was impeccable and she was able to joke around withus and really make our night! I hope she is recognized for her outstanding service! The manager was also wonderful they stoppedby and chatted for a moment and also gave us a good laugh! Took daughter to celebrate birthday. There were 6 of us. The food was great. The waitress however lacked in customer service... skills. We still had food on our plates and drinks to finish . We hadnt been there long.and she wanted to give us our check. Soa little time went by and our drinks became empty. We were still celebrating. There were not many people in the restaurant. Food was good and our server was outstanding! It was a Saturday night at the Rockford,IL location and our server was Michelle... Jones. She was bright & cheery and made our meal enjoyable. In fact, it was memorable. She took some time to chat with and andwe shared some life stories. It's not often when your wait person spends some time with the customer.
