We went as a large group of 15. Called for reservations 2 hours before and they had no trouble accommodating us. The food was... fantastic but the service even more so. We had a rehearsal dinner at Sam?s with a group of 40. They were very easy to work with and checked with us several times to... make sure everything was just right. Food was great and plentiful. This is a really nice restaurant & the food is so GOOD! Some restaurants struggle with consistent hospitality, food, or... environment. This place has it locked down!! Their food is consistently good, the environment is consistently clean & thehospitality is great. We have eaten here several times, the food sells itself. > Note their pizza is epic, but if you haveleftover pizza it's awesome hot or cold. < Some restaurants struggle with consistently good food, service, or events. Thisrestaurant shines thru on all. We have attended this restaurant for family events, rehearsal dinners, most recently aquinceanera yesterday. Consistently GOOD!! We setup for the quinceanera, the banquet room is clean, pretty & well maintained,bathrooms cleaned and well maintained. The banquet room, along with wait staff were superb! I gave 2 stars due to the food. Side salads were absolutely disgusting! (... Lettuce brown with a slimy texture.) The chicken was moist, yet extremely bland. Pasta noodles were cooked to perfection, butthe sauce tasted like tomato paste without a lick of seasoning! Furthermore, the meatballs were delicious!!!!! Carry out is a frustrating mess here. I placed an order online and made sure to arrive after my 'ready' time, to give them a... little wiggle room. Inside there were about eight other people, all oddly standing around and trying to figure out what to do. There is a guy behind the bar who is pouring drinks for guests wandering over from the ballroom where a wedding is being held,and as each new carry out customer comes in for pickup, we are all asking the same question. Is this where I stand? Do I tellthem I'm here? Do they yell out orders when they are ready? No one knew. I approached the bartender and asked if they need ourname for carry out. He was obviously not in a good mood and told me he would "get to me soon, he was doing two things at once". Hey no problem. I don't mind waiting, but customers should not need to figure out what to do when they get there. And I'vebeen here before for carry out and recall the same "invisible" treatment you get. When you're at Sam's your not family, you areseemingly another task. They don't bother with all the "be right with you", or "sorry for the wait" banter. It's customerservice void here at carry out. I had plenty of time to stare at my phone, so when my order was ready, I was asked to pay $1.00more. Not a big deal, but I was curious where that was coming from. He looked at my phone and said "it's just a dollar, it'sprobably a convenience fee. If you order online, you won't have that". Aren't convenience fees for when you pay onlineinstead of at the store? Shouldn't that be told upfront? And more to the point, I did order online. But decided I didn't wantto upset the growing crowd behind me. As a fitting end when I bought our three sandwiches with fries, my wife looked at herMeatball sandwich and said she got the wrong order. Good place to have a private party the banquet hall is big enough for around 200 people or maybe more. They also have plenty of... parking to accommodate the banquet hall patrons and the restaurant patrons at the same time, without any issues. The food isgood, but the bartender and the wait staff are too slow. They also don't maintain the bathrooms very well while your havingyour party. The acoustics and lighting are not that great. I also hope they add more stalls in the women's bathroom. From thebeginning of the party until the end, ladies had to wait in a long line to use the bathroom. Read more
