An excellent evening out with friends at Tavern On Clark. The service was spot-on, the drinks were ice cold and the food was... perfectly created and presented. I had the Lagunitas IPA, a Reuben with fries and a french onion soup. I've tried dozens ofReubens across the country, perfected my own version, and know what I feel makes a great sandwich. Tavern On Clark's version hadit all tonight! The bread was toasted and stayed crisp until the finish, the right amount of kraut and dressing, and a generousportion of corned beef and cheese. How do I write 50 million stars honestly? 5 stars is just not enough for this place! This is our families go to place and we... live in Oregon! We come at least twice a month and we love it every time! The staff is super nice, never had bad service! Thefood is amazing! My husband is a chef and he?s obsessed ( so you know it?s that good) Very classy place! We bring our 2 year olddaughter and she loves the food too! Honestly wish you had one in Oregon because we would be there everyday! Thanks for theamazing service and always an amazing experience! First time. They were very accommodating to add a couple more to our party which we appreciated. Lauren our server was swamped... but still managed have good service. The mussels, a few were fishy so I wouldn?t do again. French onion soup was great, not asrich as we are used to but in a good way, more onion broth like. Clam chowder did not have many clams. Ahi Tuna was cookedperfectly and delicious, the fried rice noodles with it were bland. The cheese stuffed pork chop was very tender not dry at all,the risotto with it was rich and delicious, asparagus was a little over cooked and not many of them. The chicken carbonara wasvery good, the Alfredo sauce was great and not to overpowering. The fries with the chicken tenders were great. If you ask forbread they will bring it. I had the Lamb chop meal dairy free and it was delicious. The raspberry and standard balsamic vinaigrette complimented the salad... well. I was not a fan of the caramel apple Sangria. Read more

Dinner at Tavern on Clark was very good this evening. We sat on the small patio, which is on the sunny side of the building, so... sunglasses were required most of our time there. The food was excellent. The French Onion soup was flavorful, without being toosalty. The side salad was made with a mix of greens, which is so superior to chopped iceberg that others use. The Rubensandwich is huge, loaded with flavorful corned beef. The Chicken Marsala had a wonderful sauce. The chicken was thick and juicy.The Asperagus and smashed red potatoes with parm, were a great accompaniment. The grilled Salmon Salad was prepared well with agreat dressing to tie it together. Service was a bit slow, but we did appear to be our server's only outside table. The foodwas Wonderful, service a tad slow, but not horrible. The patio was very sunny and hot for dinner service and was nothingspecial, compared to some others in town. So come for the food and chose inside dining, if it is a sunny summer evening. Read more
