I was really excited to try this place. Unfortunately it was kind of a cold atmosphere; it didnt feel like a place you could sit... and relax. I bought an iced Chai and it was too much Chai. So I bought a hot caramel latte instead, it was extremely hot andmore like a cappuccino with the amount of foam instead of a nice froth. Read more
A very comfy and cozy spot to get a small breakfast and a solid cup of coffee. Wife loved the Gilmore Girl seasonal that she... went with the Drunken Pumpkin(really tasty). The French Press of the Ethopian roast that they have is fantastic, best up ofblack Joe that I have had in awhile. We had avocado toast and a breakfast burrito, both very tasty. A unique little coffee shop! I had an iced coffee with oat milk, and it was really good! It's appreciated when shops carry... vegan/dairy-free milk options (they specifically have oat and almond). Read more
Not a bad place. Decent prices, however the espresso (doppio) had coffee grounds in it. The siphon coffee had decent flavor for... a dark roast. It would be nice if they didn't shy away from lighter roasts. I understand it's easier to brew dark roasts butlight roasts have such great flavor profiles with different notes that could compliment some of their food dishes. Did a coffee run for me and some co-workers, and Velvet Robot did not disappoint. The coffee was excellent, and everything in... the order was made accurately. I wasn?t able to hang around long, but the aesthetics of the indoor seating seemed really cool aswell. Read more
