Velvet Robot is our new go to for coffee! There coffee is definitely the star of the show, but their entire esthetic cannot be... beat in this area. Not only is there staff knowledgeable but they are friendly and welcoming. You feel very comfortable whenbeing there and this is not always the case in other coffee shops. Just got the Rockford Peaches and Cream. I didn't expect there to still be coffee in it...but there is and it's a delectable... combination. Not too fruity at all, a sweet undercurrent. The atmosphere is calming and the place is spacious. A good firstvisit experience. Read more
If you want to try a different spin on a coffee shop pretty wacky and wild with great service and selections not your norm but... really tasty I tried the honey lavender coffee really yummy the matcha tea is tasty and Bagel breakfast sandwich was verygood. My assistant and I had a great morning on a rainy day enjoying the coffee and ambiance of the Coffee Lab! Really cool... decorations, some old school arcade games and a ping pong table, a huge open space, and really friendly staff! I do havepictures but will have to upload them later. We really had a great time just relaxing and strategizing for our Friday morningmeeting! I had a Bloody Valentine (white mocha strawberry) and Jenn had a Mocha Coconut Coffee. Both were very good, as was mybagel with cream cheese. Highly recommend spending a morning there to relax! Read more
This place is the best kept coffee shop secret in Rockford! The coffee is always great, when I come in the morning there is... almost never a wait. I LOVE the Lavender White Mocha as an iced latte. I have tried a few of the breakfast items and highlyrecommend the lox bagel, super delicious and always fresh! Read more

How did I not know about this place until now??? So we ventured out to explore and I was so very impressed with this place!!!... The food is SOOOOO yummy, clean eating and healthy!!
