Quaint little burger joint. That literally is just a burger joint. They have thin burgers so suggest a double as a regular... burger and then you build on that... perfect! Very nice simple menu, tasty burgers, friendly service and reasonable prices. When we visited it was very busy however even... with lots of customers we only waited 5 to 10 minutes. Definitely under 10 minutes for 4 meals. The burgers remind me ofFreddy's Steak Burgers. I would recommend this place to anyone. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and ate at the nearby picnictables by the riverwalk. Read more
Great service, order always perfect, good bottled soda. They also have patties made in their signature style with Impossible... brand plant based "meat" so this vegan can enjoy the same food my friends do. Read more

I grew up in Rockford and have always loved going to burger shack. The food is consistently good, and the staff are friendly.... However, I took a trip to burger shack recently and was sad to find a ?blue lives matter? flag on the wall. I was disappointedto see their views don?t aline with mine. I truly believe that Rockford residents would be up in arms if burger shack were todisplay a black lives matter flag. Unfortunately, I will not be taking another trip to burger shack, as there are plenty ofother, locally owned, delicious burger shops, closer to my home in Grand Rapids. Read more
Great food and very affordable. Really nice workers and very clean. All burgers come naked and you add whatever you want on it.... With a meal, you get fries and a drink. Also, the best part was that people who was/is in the military, they eat FREE! Reallygood and highly recommend! Read more
What a terrific little burger joint right in the quaint riverside shopping area of Rockford. The triple burger with my custom... chosen toppings was delicious and had a almost charbroiled flavor that they said comes from how long their grill has beenseasoned over the years. The loaded fries were also delicious and they brought our meals out much quicker than I had expected.This is a great little place that I will definitely return to when I?m in the mood for a burger and am in Rockford.
