I would like to say the food is really good because it's not that bad. The guy running the place was really friendly to the... customers. He seemed a bit harried and stressed out though. The food seemed really tasty. But it was really expensive. Seemslike less of a fast food place and more of a specialty charcuterie type establishment. The first time I went to Dickey'sbarbecue pit was about 5 years ago. My meal cost me about 12 bucks. I thought it was pretty expensive then. When we went thistime, it was $56 for two people. Now I guess that's not outrageous, but it was definitely more than I thought it would be. Wewon't be coming back but it's not because the food wasn't good. One of the better franchise bbq places I've been to in the west side of MI. Got a kid's brisket meal which came with 2 cuts, a... side, bread, sauce, and a small drink. Just enough for me ?? Meat wasn't dry or overdone. Bread was a little too dense for mytastes though. Read more

Staff is always kind and friendly. Great options of meat and sauces. Can't go wrong with any of the bbq. Usually get sliced... brisket (very lean) or smoked turkey (juicy, white meat) Enjoyed the brisket chili, hearty and flavorful. Read more
