I have one recommendation for this place and that is they should put a little more seasoning in the food. Other than that it was... all good. Read more

Wow! Blown away with how rude they were! Would give 0 stars, if that were an option! Never had such an experience at a... restaurant. My husband, 2 daughters and I met my mother there for a late lunch. After we got our drinks and ordered, someonecame out from the back and asked us if it was our first time there. We said, "Yes, it is." So he made sure to add "Please besure to not make a mess while youre here..." We hadn't even received any food yet! The only thing that happened was my 2 yearold, spilt some soda on the floor, which I wiped up! When our server started bringing our food, I asked if they requested toeveryone who came in, to "not make a mess." He said, "We have if people are being really messy." I blinked at him, stating, "Wehaven't even gotten our food yet...." He said, "I didn't tell him to come over here. We asked for to-go boxes right away, andthe guy who was rude to us brought them for us along with our bill. He "thanked" me for ordering a Mike's Hard Lemonade, as "hehas been trying to get rid of it for 3 weeks...." Whaaat???? They both young guys who obviously have NO customer serviceskills. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Also, there was only 1 other table with people there! They had left by thetime our food was delivered, so they were not even slightly busy, not that any of us were surprised. Would never recommend orgo back. Read more

Been here 3 times. Ordered different things all 3 times. Every time, the food was dripping wet in oil and grease. I mean a solid... puddle on plate. Food is very bland as well. By far the worst mexican food I've ever had. Will never be going back, will neverrecommend this restaurant. All these people ranting and raving, have obviously never had real Mexican food. ???? Not sure if this location or Albertville is the "original" El Bamba, but the flavors at the Albertville location are just... marginally better (spices and heat). Could have been an off Friday night for the cook, and it wasn't bad, just not as flavorfulas I've had at other times from El Bamba Albertville. Always free chips and salsa to start you off, but don't go overboard oryou won't finish you main dish! The #1 "El Bamba Burrito (California style)" is my favorite. A hulking burrito (12" end-to-end,barely fits on the plate!) for a small price (~$13), you could easily take half home and still leave unable to eatdessert. Friendly staff and nice outdoor patios at both locations. Best Mexican food for your buck, in Rockford or Albertville! Read more

I am unbelievably disappointed in the quality of food. We tried 4 different things and the majority of it went into the garbage.... For the $50 we paid, we expected a lot more. Seemed most of it came out if a can. It was an insult to Mexican cuisine. Read more

$2.75 for a small bag "side" of chips (over priced). $1.50 for small Refried beans side.$1.50 (fair good price). My chips were... not stale like I saw someone else posted. They are thick I assume made from scratch which is different then a bag ofDoritos. Have been to one in Albertville had a chimichanga which was good. Rockford restaurant is much nicer, the patio is socute, going to have a full bar too. Great friendly polite staff. I hope this business stays put. The previous restaurant inthis location I was not impressed with. Read more
