A friend told me that this was the best brisket he'd had East of Texas. I agree - brisket, ribs, jerk chicken... All was so... good! Great staff. (Oh, and the most unique bathroom for 100 miles. It's a modified horse trailer). Read more

We seek out BBQ and smoked meats whenever we travel. This Saturday- only offering is by far the most exquisitely smoked meats... we've ever had. The pork and brisket were sublime and the pastrami was out of this world. Will is a true pit master. Read more

Edit: I?ma add a little more here since the owner felt the need to be a thin-skinned, insulting baby instead of accepting... criticism and trying to better his business. 1) deciding to eat a sub-par meal instead of throwing a fit is not being a coward,it called politeness. 2) If you ever go to an actual bbq place, a reasonable price for a plate, side, and drink is like$10-$15. Look up any joint?s menu in KY, TN, NC, TX and you?ll find out yourself. This was the least flavorful barbecue I haveever had. I should have know better when I showed up and didn?t smell smoke. It was so bland. Like somehow they have a smokerthat removes flavor from meat. Secondly, even if it was good bbq (which it most definitely isn?t) the prices are ridiculous andtheir a la carte menu make no sense. What barbecue place doesn?t do plates? 3 people got pulled pork sandwiches, one side each, and three drinks (only one was alcoholic) and the total was over $69.00. It would have been a better lunch if I had just put thesauce on the cash and ate that. I will give them credit for their sauces though. We got Barbecue, vinegar, and Caribbean, eachof those were delicious. Also, the location and atmosphere were nice and the staff were friendly. Read more

This place is amazing! I came in for lunch today and got a hell of a plate of BBQ. Got an order of brisket (1/2 pound to be... exact) on top of Mac and cheese with a side of Cole slaw. With a cup of Kansas city BBQ sauce to dip the meat in. To rinse itdown was a bottle of peach tea. With a tip included it cost me around 25 dollars and I felt that I got a lot of food for thevalue. It's a shame they're only open 3 days a week but it's definitely worth taking the time to check it out! Read more

In a word, the best brisket sandwich AND pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. The BBQ sauce was so good, I debated licking it out... of the paper cup it came in (dignity barely won out over hunger). Very, muchly, extremely recommended. Read more

I'm blessed to be working just a few short steps from this amazing restaurant. Easily accessible with a beautiful view of the... Rockland harbor area. The staff is super friendly and quick with a smile. The food is really hard to beat. The brisket was mychoice, with the Kansas BBQ sauce. It was super tender, and smoky, just the right amount of heat. The side beans are alsoamazing, mixed with bits of smoked meat (pork, I think), the perfect accompaniment for a tasty meal. Be warned, they only serveuntil they run out, so the early bird gets the best meat. Read more
