The staff was friendly. The place is wonderfully decorated. The food is eh - it needs more seasoning. The salsa was sweet and... didn't remind us of salsa. Very good food. The Cuban and Mexican menu is large with a nice variety of options. The drink menu is also nice. I've heard... their Very Berry Margarita is great. Overall the decor and atmosphere was very relaxing and lively. The waitress was telling usabout how people like to come later in the evening and sometimes they have dance music playing and people will get up and dance.I really enjoyed the chimichanga I had. Their queso blanco sauce was the best I've had in a while. The portion was amazing foronly 8 dollars. I highly recommend coming here and I will definitely be back. Read more

Here's the thing, the drinks are strong and fairly priced (especially if you get the well option.) They were able to accommodate... moving our group of 8 from a patio reservation to inside without any hesitation, when we discovered just how loud the (very fun)live band was upon arrival. One of the two stars is actually for the entertainment, and one is for decent drinks. I've been aserver so I don't like to judge servers, but let's go ahead and say that service didn't make my top 10 list (or top 100). Thebiggest issue here is that the food is just plain terrible. I got chicken enchiladas with a poblano sauce, but the sauce was sothick and flavorless that I thought they accidentally put refried beans on top of my enchilada instead. The lighting isn't greatso it was hard to tell that there was a faint green tint to the sauce. I didn't even finish my two enchiladas, and I'm a loyalmember of the Clean Plate Club??. Thankfully their chips tasted fresh, so there was still something to snack on. I tried ataco, thinking, "how could that ever be bad?" I'm not sure how, but it was. Their chicken is flavorless and best described aswet. Not juicy in a way that's satisfying, but wet, like they didn't strain the liquid out of whatever container it had beensitting in. No judgment on the sitting - I don't expect freshly shredded chicken for every entree. I've worked inkitchens. Mostly, nothing testing like... anything. Guacamole was bland but acceptable, queso was bland, the meat was bland,poblano sauce (made from peppers) was somehow bland??? I don't understand this experience, to the point where it's mostly funny.Mostly. I hope I caught them on an off day where it just so happens that they ran out of all seasonings. I almost never writenegative reviews, but this was straight up terrible food. If you go for the live music, the atmosphere, some chips & salsa, anda drink, you'll have a good time. Been here a couple of times and haven't been wowed . First time was better than yesterday. I understand there's a shortage of... staff, but then fill the tables based on the staff you have. This will allow your servers an opportunity to provide good serviceand the restaurant a better chance of not losing repeat customers. Meal took one hour and 40 min to complete. We were not in ahurry, but the lack of service is the worst I've encountered in a very long time. Though everyone was friendly, the experiencewas not enjoyable. The food was basic, nothing great, nothing terrible. In my opinion this restaurant would function a lotbetter as a 10 table spot in a strip mall. Doubt I will be back for a third visit. Read more
