My husband and I had the pleasure of eating here this weekend and have Joey as our waiter. Everything from the cocktails to the... wine to the view , the food, and Joey was an A ++!!!! It was amazing to find this gem so close to our home. We are from Oklahomaoriginally and know our steak/meat cuts well. This was THE best prime rib we have EVER had. The oysters were fresh, the Mac andcheese was INSANE! We loved every bit of our meal. We didn't feel rushed. Joey's timing was PERFECT! And kudos to the bartender- my cucumber martini was awesome. I came here to attend a diabetes presentation. The food was mediocre, but the shrimp n grits on point with the flavor - just... needed some spicy and the mango cheesecake dessert was refreshing with the mango flavor! The lobster bisque was missing flavor,needed more broth but it had lobster pieces which was good. The shrimp stuff fresh catch was bland and the fish needed herbs,but the food was presentation was good. Needed more oomph in the flavor department, but the food was cooked thoroughly though.???? Could be worse. I hav been here before in November for a friend?s birthday and we sat outside on the patio. I order halfthe appetizers on the menu and everything was delicious and amazing. I have no idea what went wrong here Wednesday night. But Ihope they can do better. I?ll try them again. Read more
*review for the dock* TLDR: much better waterfront dining options elsewhere for the price The outdoor seating may be one of... the only things going for this place. Servers were friendly and attentive but the food fell pretty flat. The dip was overlyprocessed and tortilla chips were on the stale side. The burger: was supposed to be medium and basically came out raw in themiddle. The pickles were nice, the bacon felt like it came out of a big bin of cooked bacon from hours ago under a heat lamp.The bun left a lot to be desired for this price range The crab cake sandwich: almost identical taste and texture of a CaptainD's deviled crab. Absolutely spectacular!!!! Sweeping views of the river, incredible breezes and service that is top notch. The food delicious.... Everything just outstanding. Highly recommend!!!! Edit: Returned and ate inside. Spectacular service and food as well!Incredible views as well. Added pictures of our meals. The drinks are the bomb! The seating outside was amazing, the staff was competent, friendly and even helped us with plans for... the following day! The food was super fresh, I had to send scallops back that were overcooked, with a smile they were returnedperfectly cooked! The rest was amazing. Read more
Beautiful restaurant and the service was excellent. Plenty of outdoor seating with stunning views of the river. At night torches... are lit and they have seating just beyond the deck that can make any occasion seem even more special. Our party had a varietyof food and everything was hot and delicious. If you enjoy out side seating come early slight before the actual popular timesfor breakfast, lunch or dinner. River Rock dining is definitely a go to place to eat for locals and tourist. Read more
This was my first time going to this restaurant we sat outside beautiful setting food was fresh for the most part had some... vegetarian healthy options which I really appreciated that I think server could have been a little more tentative didn't seem tobe extremely busy in there friendly clean comfortable prices.
