Ordered the Coney dog and the bacon cheeseburger with fries. The Coney (chili) sauce was overcooked to the point of almost... burnt. The bacon cheeseburger was salty and had onions, we requested no onions. The fries were overdone/burnt. Lastly they ranout of Rootbeer! How does an A&W run out of Rootbeer? This location is paired with a KFC and recently went through an updating of the lobby. Food has been consistently good. When my... job puts me in this area I make this my daily lunch stop. Staff are pleasant even when rushed. The only reason I didn't givethis location 5 stars is because there have been more than a few times that the restaurant seemed understaffed for the volume oforders. 1. Drove up to place my order i was asked to wait just a second, no problem. But then 1 second turned into almost 3 mins. 2.... After ordering i drove up to the window & was told that the fries would be ready in 4 mins again no problem because i prefer myfood well cooked but then 4 mins turned into almost 15 mins. 3. I didn't see any mature person working inside the restaurant(just teenagers). Well ok, cauz we all got to start somewhere right? 4. After waiting at the drive thru for almost 20 mins usingup the little energy & patience i had left after a long day at work, the chicken was way "undercooked". Inside was dirty and run down looking. Food was terrible. I was told I would have to wait 5 minute for my fries but then when I... got them they were barely warm. Only redeeming quality was the root beer float which is the only reason I came but don't thinkit will be enough to get me to come back. I ordered a root beer float at the Granite Drive location. Twice in a row, I was handed a root beer float overflowing. The root... beer float overflowed onto my NEW car seats and all over my dress slacks that now have to be dry cleaned. TWICE IN A ROW!!!! Icontacted the store and have not heard back in two days. They have done nothing!! I won't be going back. There's lots of otherplaces to get a float without the mess. I'm frustrated and angry. I also ordered a hot dog that wasn't fully cooked.Ugh!
