A friend and I decided to try this place due to the proximity to Walmart, and the restaurant we were planning on going to being... closed between menu resets(lunch to dinner). Everything from the food, to the service, to the cozy laid back atmosphere wasamazing! I've been trying to become more acclimated to sushi, especially stuff that isn't a basic salmon or tuna roll, and theBTS roll was just what I needed to get there. The menu is by and large Japanese cuisine as one might expect, but the bulgogibeef was a fun surprise and it gave me a chance to try something new that I've been wanting to get at. We ordered ratheraggressively for a party of two because everything looked so good, so our bill was just over $100, but if you're just orderingfor one or two and not going crazy like we did it is very reasonably priced. I will definitely be coming back in the future andsinging their praises, and if you're in the area looking for a good sushi spot or quality Japanese food I highly recommendgiving them a shot. I love the food at Oki Sushi. I eat here about 1 or 2 times a week. I highly recommend the Savage roll. It is deep fried and... torched. The fish is all fresh. I also get the Crossings roll and Tempura Roll. I love everything from the kitchen and Iusually get the sesame chicken. My kids, wife and I also love the salmon; the cut never has bones in it. We also love the MisoSoup. The service is always good. Covid changes whether or not they can allow people to eat inside so just call and ask. Theydo a lot of to go orders. I need to add more pictures later. Update 12/9/2020 I ordered the tempura and was impressed that itwas protected with cooking paper so that it doesn?t melt the Togo box. They also added holes in the lid so the steam escapesand it doesn?t get soggy. Read more
I ordered a bento with katsudon and beef teriyaki, but they may have forgotten to give the katsudon sauce and the teriyaki when... my ordered arrived. I asked the server, Trini, if I could get the sauces for the tonkatsu and the beef teriyaki and, I am notsure if she was joking about me paying extra for the sauces, but I showed her my bento. I was expecting at least a drizzle ofthe sauces on the (apparently dry) meats. She came back with the sauces and did not charge me for them. I thanked her for theaccommodation. Nothing much out of the ordinary from my order. Maybe next time I will order their sushi? Read more
