I was so disappointed in their food. I tried their cheese enchiladas. Their beans, rice, and enchiladas were terrible. There was... nothing on the plate to make up for any of it. Beans tasted bad, rice was bad and enchilada?s were bad. The weird thing is thatthis place was packed. So either Rockport has no idea was good Mexican food is or this is the only Mexican spot in Rockport. Read more

The food was really good and relatively quick, and the portion sizes were really generous. The service was good, and the... atmosphere felt like home (south Texas). The bathrooms were really stinky, though?be prepared to hold your breath while you?rein there ???? Read more

Decent food as this was our go to for breakfast. Today the messed up the order, no biggie mistakes happen. Food got cold waiting... for hot sauce, I?ve never been to a Mexican restaurant and waited for hot sauce. The reason is our server never returned to thedining room. It was just an unfortunate experience all together. $20 for 4 tacos and 2 teas?I?ll explore other options nexttime. Read more

UPDATE: (June 2022) I can only guess that COVID has changed a lot of places, and unfortunately, this is one of them. I haven't... been here for a couple of years, but I was really looking forward to another visit. This time I ordered a burrito with shreddedchicken. The white cheese topping was thick as Elmer's Glue and just about tasted like it. It was HORRIBLE! The chicken endedup making me quite ill later in the day. The other two plates were from my lunch mates, and they both commented that the foodwas a bit subpar compared to other Mexican food places in the area. Due to the very gross tasting cheese and the fact that thechicken made me sick, I have to change my rating from 5 to 2 stars. I truly hope this experience was a one-off and that nobodyelse is getting ill from eating here. ORIGINAL POST: (2019) I've eaten here a few times and it's always good food at a fairprice. This last time I ordered the spinach enchiladas and they were fantastic. They are huge enchiladas, so for only havingtwo of them (along with rice and beans) it's a filling meal. The enchiladas have spinach, mushrooms, and onions inside them, and a gooey white cheese on top. It also comes with some shredded lettuce a tomato slice on the side. All in all, it was fillingand tasty and I would definitely order it again. I also ordered tea for a drink, and it's usually pretty good. A little lighton the tea flavor in my opinion, but I prefer my tea to be stronger than most. They also serve the standard chips and salsa(complimentary) before the meal. The chips are always fresh and warm, and the salsa has a good flavor. It's not hot at all,but it tastes really good. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the Rockport area and are searching for sometasty Mexican food. Read more

It is an okay Mexican restaurant with great coffee. I came here for breakfast a few days ago. It was not bad, but it was... nothing special. The people were friendly and served us fast. We ordered our food, and it came out in a reasonable amount oftime. Honestly, the presentation of the food was not very good, but the taste was not bad. It seems like bland is the flavorof the day when it comes to Mexican restaurants on the Texas coast for some reason. But, the food here was no overly bland. Itdid have some flavor to it. It was a lot better than the meal I ate the night before, at another Mexican restaurant in PortAransas, that is for sure. I might try here for lunch and dinner to see what else they offer, so I would have more to go on forthis review than just a single breakfast. As it stands, I rate this restaurant at 3-stars for food. But they do have some ofthe best restaurant coffee I have had in a long time, so that pushed them into the 4-star category. I would definitely comehere to drink coffee. It is seldom that I find a place that serves coffee I actually like. I can count the spots on the onehand that I have ever had a cup of coffee at that I said, "Now, THIS is a good cup of coffee!" This is one place I said this. Read more
