This is my 1st time here, referred by a friend. Its a small place, the parking lot is overflowing. The wait was about 30 min on... a Friday morning around 11. You can't fault a place for being that popular. I ordered coffee, OJ and pork chop and eggs. My onlycomplaint is that this was a thin pork steak, not a traditional bone in porkchop. It was good but not what I was expecting toreceive. The eggs were on point.. And I say that because I ordered over medium and nobody seems to know how to make over mediumeggs... This is the 1st place to get it right. Kudos. The hashbrowns were more toasted than most places. At least they weren'tsoggy like some other places. The biscuits were awesome with homemade gravy. The homemade biscuits n gravy and the perfect eggsearned 5 stars for me. Our server visited us frequently also so 5 star for the service. I would definitely recommend. Read more

Was very busy Saturday morning! Had a little bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. Felt very cozy and our waitress was... amazing! The food was great and fairly priced. Great southern comfort food. Read more

Great, comfortable, no-nonsense place. Expect to wait a bit during peak hours, but that's par for the corse in a hometown... restaurant with a good reputation. The food is filling and tastes like home cooking (but not greasy). The prices are fair. Lovethe heavy, custom, stoneware mugs (best with black coffee). Customer service topped things off with a smile. Read more

A lot of American comfort food from meatloaf to chicken, as platters or sandwich. Got the half order of onion rings (12) & the... chili cheese fries - chili is homemade. Read more

In biz for 7 years now and going strong for locals and toruist alike. I see why that is. Good food, big portions and super kind... staff that keep meals coming out fast even when packed. Food is tasty and affordable all round for what we got. The pancakes arethick and fluffy and tasty, the bacon crispy and delicious. My ham and eggs were on point and man do I love grits. Coffee hereis strong and bold. Kevin the owner is an amazing guy still working the kitchen himself after 7 years in business and yet makestime to come out and talk to customers like me. That's priceless in my book. Class act. A must stop spot for breakfast inRockport for darn sure. At one time Kevin told me they were the only local restaurant open for 8 months after Harvey hit anddamaged many others. They were the lifeblood of the resto world for this small town and I'm happy to know they were able to doso. Read more
