First I am a Sonic fan! I love the chili dogs,onion rings,tots and almost every drink made. But this Sonic in Rockport does not... meet even minimum standards found in most other Sonics. Repeated visits shows me this is the norm not just a bad day. Coldhotdogs, cold tots and buns on my chili dogs hard and crumbing. My cherry lime drink even was undrinkable. Shame on me forstopping for food when just about the same performance was found on my last two visits prior to last night. But I love Sonic sohere is review for all to see. This Sonic needs quality control management on food production. Yes when I first complained ofcold tots they remade them - hot but way undercooked- then first bite of cold hotdog with a crunchy bun turned my hunger toanger! $18.00 for 2 cold dogs, cold tots, onion rings(hot and good thank God I ordered a medium because that was my dinner) abad tasting large cherry limeade and a small shake. I ate rings and wife had a shake for dinner. I feel cheated last night andfor all my past visits in the last 2 years living in Rockport. This Sonic is one corporate should investigate for substandardfood to save the brand from loss of customers. Read more
Morning shift makes the best tea! Avoid going after 1 pm unless you want sour tea, should be washing the tea dispenser regularly... to stop the nasty build up and sour tasting residue but nope afternoon and night shift are to lazy and want to play andsocialize instead of work. Read more
We normally love sonic for drinks & snacks but today they messed up on my order 3 times! I ordered it on the app & was sitting... there forever after it said on the screen that someone was heading out with my order. I never got it so called them turns outthey lost it. Sent a girl out to get my order so I told her & was sure to emphasize that I added 5 packs of ketchup & mayo onthe side as condiments. Brought my order out, no condiments. Pressed button to ask for them, they bring out mayo & mustard. Noketchup. Instead of taking my kids to the park to eat our meals we just went home to use ketchup from there. Very disappointedbecause kids were upset to not go eat at the park & I really didn't want to communicate with the sonic employees a 4th timeabout our order. And the kids won't eat it without ketchup & I don't really enjoy what we ordered without it either. Read more
Placed an order for my family. We get our food in a reasonable amount of time, but missing cheese fries, and got the wrong... drink. I buzz back in, and they apologize and say fries will be right out. We wait about 7 min, and nothing. We are 1 of maybe 5cars at the restaurant. I buzz in again, and once again they apologize, and finally rush out the missing cheese fries. The restof the family has already finished eating by this point. And what do they offer us for our troubles? A BOGO coupon for a burger,and a .99 cent sundae. Gee, thanks! Read more
Got 2 of the footlong hotdogs combo with tater tots and a large order of onion rings. And a wacky pack cheeseburger. Let me... say the tater tots tasted old the onion rings were still raw. I ask them to toast the buns. It was just nasty old food. Barelyany chilli on our hotdogs. Spend good money it should be good food. As of 941 pm . For the first time in the history of our ordering ahead using the Sonic app (all over the country for years) we have found a... Sonic that actually has the food ready when we arrived. It was a tater tot miracle of cheese stick proportions. We drove up,entered our stall number and our food came out immediately. It was amazing! We will definitely be back. Read more
2/3 of my drinks were right. This is the blackberry 'sugarwater' slush. I mean if we were more focused on our duties like the... seeming manager (who always seems to be picking up the load, and is still friendly) instead of talking about the price of myorder amongst y'allselves, maybe my hardworking friend who deserves a slush would have had a better day. Pulled in and was able to order instantaneously. Food came out in a fast timely manner. All I ordered was 10 ice cream sundaes... that were all delicious. I would highly recommend this Sonic to anybody. Read more
