Ten out of ten best ice cream I've ever had and the service is amazing I really recommend this for a date night
Very very good ice cream and the staff are always very nice. We bring the kids here all the time during the summer for ice... cream. Great outdoor area to sit and eat. However, right now I?m only giving it two stars because when they switch to theirwinter hours the ordering process is very difficult and irritating. They?ve made it way too complicated. You can no longer orderfrom the walk-up window during the winter season. But the only way you can find out how to order is to either call or walk up tothe front and read a sign with the instructions. Kind of defeats the purpose of curbside delivery if you have to walk up to thewindow to figure out how to order so you might as well just have the walk-up window ordering open. Now they also won?t let youorder over the phone. So you have to order through their website which is not user friendly and the flavors listed on thewebsite are not always accurate. Once you order you are supposed to text a phone number with your parking spot number and yourorder number. Two problems with this, you don?t receive an order number on your receipt and the phone number they want you totext is a landline and you can?t text it. So you end up calling (again) and telling them what you ordered and where youparked. We?ve done this process more than a handful of times and every time is very difficult and annoying and we end upcalling more than once. We have decided to give up on going during the winter season. If they can get a better online orderingsystem or just order over the phone I will give this place 5 stars and start going back there in the winter. Again, fantasticplace during the summer but if you like your ice cream in the winter I would not suggest going here unless you want to get outof your car and read instructions on a window, make a couple phone calls, use a difficult website, probably make some more phonecalls cause you?ve been waiting 20 minutes for your order and you call (again) and they never got the order, an Read more
As of October 8th they're ordering system is online only and is not a smooth experience. You're required to text a separate... number That's posted. Nowhere online, that's barely visible on a hand written signboard in one of the windows. The young ladystated they will return to normal ordering sometime next April. I left Rockton in 2015 after my community college was done, and I still think of Dairyhaus after all these years. The service is... always great and the ice cream is still better than any place that I've had up to 2022. Whenever I'm back in Illinois, I nevermiss a chance to hit up Dairyhaus one more time! The service here is INCREDIBLE. Scene: I'm getting ice cream for me and my young daughters. 1 year old daughter in my arms... takes a single lick of her ice cream cone(strawberry, which tastes delicious) and then fumbles the cone. Dad screams "Oh No!".Within seconds (appx. 4.3) Brent is over helping us, offers a replacement scoop, and all is well. Oh yeah, the flavors aregreat too.... Read more
