They call it "Jalea de mar". I call it "Charqui (jerky) de mar". The sea food was so dry that I literally couldn't eat it. The... only good thing was the cancha (toasted corn) that was softer than the shrimp. I DO NOT recommend this place. Read more

I've been coming here for years i think since 2003, love their chicken truly their specialty.I love their yucca they really make... it taste good. Wish i saw their fried fish sign before i ordered i would've gave it a try today. It was in the waiting area.The prices are very reasonable. Atmosphere looks better than a few years back. Read more
Oh boy, did this hit the spot! I hadn't been to a Don Pollo in over a year since moving and when I found myself in Rockville... close to dinner time I had to indulge. The chicken was not fresh on my last visit, very dry and overcooked. Sauces are tasting bad. Tres leches was good on the bottom... but top side was regular cake. Read more
Yummy and flavorful chicken; not too salty. Price not too bad. Nice isn't too bad especially if you get the family set and split... the cost. Big portions on the sides. Would come back. Their bread pudding definitely worth a try. Read more
Brought the whole family here on a vacation and had a FANTASTIC meal all around. The chicken was perfectly cooked and... wonderfully flavorful. We got some of each side dish and loved all of them- especially the yucca. We're trying to see if we canget back here for more before we head home at the end of our trip. Read more
