It's nice to see that the place is still standing. After 6 years of traveling all over the world, I've never been to another... restaurant that really water my mouth whenever I reminisce about Maryland. I grew up here, I worked at the nearby medicaloffices on Rockville Pike. Every lunch, id walk to this restaurant rain, shine, or sleet and order practically the same thing. Ahalf chicken, Yucca, and Plantains. I knew the owner, he knew me as well. I told him my stories of my travels through thePeruvian Amazons, the dry highlands of Arequipa, and the coastal fishing villages in Paracas. It was truly one of my favoriteexperience. As for the food, it's not a five star restaurant, nor it has won any awards, or gain perfect ratings on GoogleMaps. It's a restaurant that you go to for lunch.
