It's nice to see that the place is still standing. After 6 years of traveling all over the world, I've never been to another... restaurant that really water my mouth whenever I reminisce about Maryland. I grew up here, I worked at the nearby medicaloffices on Rockville Pike. Every lunch, id walk to this restaurant rain, shine, or sleet and order practically the same thing. Ahalf chicken, Yucca, and Plantains. I knew the owner, he knew me as well. I told him my stories of my travels through thePeruvian Amazons, the dry highlands of Arequipa, and the coastal fishing villages in Paracas. It was truly one of my favoriteexperience. As for the food, it's not a five star restaurant, nor it has won any awards, or gain perfect ratings on GoogleMaps. It's a restaurant that you go to for lunch. I just tried ordering using GrubHub. They called after placing the order wanting to charge significantly more than the grubhub... price. Update your prices on the website but don't try to raise the price mid-order. I will never order from this sketchyrestaurant again Read more
Peruvian food is amazing!!! I never experience anything like this before. The more I eat, the more I want to eat more! The... Peruvian chicken is amazing hot, juicy and never taste dry to me. I must be in heaven!!! The chicken taste sooooogood!!! Personally, it feels like a home cook place to me. You also should try the drink ?chicha?! It?s my first time drinkingit and it taste not too sweet, but it?s very good. Decent place to grab a bite to eat. Portions are good for the price. Menu is diverse and dishes ordered were prepared to... order. Had the chicken burrito and a couple of pupusas. Plenty of parking out front and seating inside. Read more
