This is a take out experience. First time ordering from here and they are take out only at the time 6/20. I called to order... orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and beef fried rice. The one taking my order asked to clarify if I wanted thick pieces of orangepieces and recommended for me to get the general TSO chicken. She said their orange chicken is a different style-thank God shetold me. The food was really good. Maybe more $$than normal but it was really good, better than Panda Express. 5-star dim sum! Pan fried chive and shrimp dumplings, turnip cake, rice noodle crepe with shrimp, fried sticky rice dumplings,... sesame ball, and egg custard bun were all exceptional. Really friendly service as well. Went at opening time on Sunday and itwas one of the calmest/least chaotic dim sum restaurants I’ve visited. Read more
So I think I might have found my new dim sum place in the DC metro area. I loved oriental east in silver spring but after it... shutdown I started going to Silver Fountain. But a friend took me to Far East and the food was amazing! Just like most typicaldim sum places, yes you will have to wait and no they don't take reservations. Definitely worth it! Read more
Currently take out only, but the food is worth it! We were in from out of town and they were kind enough to allow us to walk... in and order. The orange chicken is delicious, not crazy sweet like some places and good heat. The crab meat wontons are actualcrab and I was very excited to find sesame balls again.
