Have to give this place 5 stars to boost the rating. Easily the biggest and juiciest crawfish in the area (all DMV not just MD,... I lived in DC/VA prior). Their sauce is more liquidy than you might be used to, but it has good flavor. The fire hot is VERYhot. Quality of crawfish this place cant be beat, please let me know if there is a place that has better craws. As for thesauce, I personally like the flavors at Hot n Juicy better. If you gave Hot n Juicy the crawfish from Live Crawfish & Seafood itwould be the best crawfish place objectively… without question.. Read more

Seafood overcooked. Customer service poor. We asked for Dungeness crab in garlic butter. It was water broth with garlic chunks.... Cocktail sauce taste like pure catch up. Oysters fried not good either. Everything tasted the same Grease doesn’t tastechanged. Don’t recommend AT ALL!!! Read more

Very fresh seafood! Huge mussels, juicy lobster, and you get to pick your seasoning (we got old bay) and spice level. We had fun... cracking open the blue crabs, which were all male and medium-large size, and very well priced (~$30 for half dozen). Huge basketof fries. We've been here several times and while we love the food, the service needs improvement. We've been here both when it's busy... and when it is slow. Doesn't matter, but each time service is painfully slow. We've had our orders forgotten, and a lot ofthings get brought out at different times which makes it hard to eat with large groups. I hoped that this would improve as theybecame more established, but it has only gotten worse. The food is great. Probably the best seafood in MoCo. We always get theblue crabs, snow crabs and shrimp. They have some really great deals on the blue crabs so they often sell out. But if you getlucky and scoop them up - they are delicious. The seafood has always been pretty fresh, especially for a spot away from thewater. We do the house flavor. Spacious spot with a bar and generous amount of seating. I really wanted to like this place but they were missing a bunch of items off the menu. My family and I split a dozen oysters,... snow crabs, and the premier combo medium spice with flavor bomb. The crabs and oysters were delicious. The seasoning itselftasted like a lot of oil and butter. Food is reasonably priced here, but I feel you can get better seafood options driving a lilfurther out to VA. Service here was great as the servers were very knowledgeable of the menu and what was in season. Covid wisethe entire staff is wearing masks/ gloves, tables are 6 ft apart and they have sanitizing stations. They finally re-opened yesterday for dine-in! There was a special for their reopening, buy 3 lbs. get 1 free. I really liked... their crawfish, snow crabs and mussels—I would recommend the flavor bomb flavor for the crawfish and garlic butter flavor forcrabs and mussels. Prices are reasonable here for their seafood. Masks are required and plastic silverware, bibs and glovesare given. Service was good—they were attentive and friendly! There were not too many people there for dinner, so I was alittle confused why they kept sitting new patrons at tables near one another when the restaurant had plenty more availabletables farther apart. We came here and at first impression it the decor seemed very empty. It is a new place and I think that's why. Nonetheless, the... food was delicious! Very fresh and very good! My wife and I destroyed their platter for 4-6, so it seemed very light for 4people. I wish the price would come down a little, but they quality is outstanding. Their drinks were very good. Not too strong,not too light. I wish the food came out faster, but I was told they only start once it's ordered, so expect a wait, buy thequality justifies it. It was very nice that we met the owner. He seems very vested and driven for excellent. He is verypersonable and approachable. This place seems to be a good reflection on him.
