I called to do a catering order around noontime and the manager on duty was very helpful, and accommodating. All my questions... were answered and she was very polite and patient. What!!!! A new spot for Roy Rogers!!! Are they making a come back?!? The store was very big and spacious. Everything was modern... and new. The condiment & toppings bar was clean and neat. Soda machines were down for 30 min, but the guy working on them was really helpful. He actually was the only person that was... helpful and he was a contractor for Coca Cola. The food here is not good at all, and management is lazy. My fries were cold so Ihad to take them back. The chicken didn?t taste that great either. Stay away from this location. Went in at 9:40 on a Thursday night. They close at 10. I apologized to the staff for coming in late, but they're one of the few... options for quick eating after 9 pm and I wanted some of that fantastic chicken (best fast food fried chicken in our area in myopinion.) I got such an attitude from the people there for coming in 20 minutes before close. Was told I couldn't order certainfoods. I live in DC and had just finished a 12+ hour work day. I've been there many times and multiple times they've screwed upmy order and given me wrong items or left items out. I double check every piece of food now. That being said, after this lastencounter I'll be going to the one in Aspen Hill from here on out. They've given me a much better experience on every level atthat store. The Rockville location needs some internal reorganization before I'll head back. The chicken can be gottenelsewhere. Read more
I enjoyed my breakfast. Fruit was nice and fresh, front of the house and the bathroom was very clean. Staff was nice and... friendly. Food is made as soon as you order. The eggs is real eggs. Way to go Roy Rogers!!! Read more
I love Roy Roger's chicken, biscuits and sides. Unfortunately, their restaurants are few and far between in the DMV so when I... had business to conduct in Rockville, I HAD to stop here! I stopped in about 4pm on a weekday (no drive through) and waswaited on promptly and the cashier was super nice. Got a 2 piece combo and loaded up my chicken box with fixings from the FixinsBar. Still, love this place even back when I worked for them in the late ?80s. Get the burgers, fried chicken, or any other sandwich... (Gold Rush). Things have changed, and they are for the better. The food always hit the spot. I can't get used the register setup it feels odd to me. Read more
OMG!! After a movie at Rio, we went to Roy Rogers on Rockville Pike, it was around 9:15pm and we were the only ones inside... sometimes that can go really bad - however we ordered and wanted to get there.
