I got the tekka don. Usually comes with tuna, some pickled veggies, maybe fish roe, on top of seasoned rice. There was very... little fish, it was releasing a weird pink liquid that stained my rice, and there were NO other components. Just a little bit offish and rice. For $27. My boyfriend got a tuna roll and a hamachi+jalapeno roll. The tuna roll was pretty hard to mess up. Thejalapeno in the hamachi roll was green bell pepper, not jalapeno. Great location, ample parking.... The sushi are so tender and fresh they melt in your mouth! Ebi tempura is also a must!!!

My go to sushi spot is in DC. And when I moved into the neighborhood, I was worried it would take awhile to find our spot. But... the first place we tried, was the one. FATE! The service here is good. They are always so warm and welcoming. And out of thehundred of times we've ordered, we've never had one error. Prices are on the higher end, but you are paying for what you get.FRESHNESS and QUALITY. My wife and I love the sushi and fish here. Everything is SO FRESH. We also love the grilled squid andtempura! They actually have a lot of great Japanese dishes here that you don't commonly see at other sushi spots in thearea. They even do free delivery which has been awesome during Covid19. Only downfall is I noticed the portions areinconsistent. Lately, they have been charging way too much for the smallest maki rolls. It's hit or miss. And because of this, Idropped it down one star. I'll start by saying the sushi is really good. I enjoyed the flavor a lot. But I had to take a couple of stars away just because... of the small portions. I'm not from here so maybe this is normal but I'm used to specialty rolls being much larger than thecheap simple rolls. Like two or three times as big. I got a spicy tuna roll and a specialty volcano roll but both were the samesize and both smaller than a normal cheap roll back home. I can barely finish this same order back home but here it was just asnack. I took a picture with a soda for scale so you can get an idea of what to expect. Like I said, maybe I'm just an unknowingvisitor and have incorrect expectations. The flavor was there so if I did go back, I'd have to get four rolls to fill up whichwould be over $40.
