Love this place. I usually go on Sundays for Brunch. The Manager is so Friendly and funny. The waitress is always smiling and... she always give 110% service. Eddie the Bartender makes the entire experience when we sit at the bar after brunch. The drinks hemakes are amazing and he always keeps you laughing. Amazing food, from appetizers down to desert. But very uncomfortable experience if your black. Especially if your young and... black. The customers stare as if you don’t belong there, looks left and right. Even whispers. The staff go above and beyondto be kind as they too can sense that black people aren’t their usual clientele, too kind that it becomes micro aggression andunnecessary complimenting. I really wanted to enjoy my experience, but it was just too much. Overall I would say if yourblack, dine knowing your risking your own comfortability. Been going there and although it’s pricey the food has always been good and it is a nice atmosphere. Few issues for me. Last... weekend went with a group of 6 (3 couples) and ordered the lobster Mac and cheese which is supposed to be LOBSTER Mac andcheese. The dish came out and was SHRIMP Mac and cheese. NO LOBSTER! Not even a little! Should’ve said something but hadhad a bunch of drinks and was enjoying the evening and figured they had mixed in some shrimp, but there was no lobster. Wifeis a “foodie” and she noticed that too. I could understand IF they told me they’d run out of lobster BEFORE I ordered oreven before it was delivered to the table but they didn’t. And we were eating at a 7 pm reservation so it would’ve beenearly to run out. Should’ve sent it back but didn’t and it wasn’t cheap at $39. Went here for Father's Day. The ambience was amazing, the food and drinks were so good and all the waiters and waitresses were... so attentive and friendly. It was a nice open space. The truffle fries were the best ever. Some items were pricey but definitelyworth it. Will definitely return soon. Can't wait! Read more
