Thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Had the string bean summer salad with shrimp and it was fresh and amazing. Calamari,... fried artichoke hearts and the meatball appetizer was worth the trip alone. Side note on the meatballs, the same chef from TonyColumbos resides here. I was so bummed about TC closing, but the meatballs and his popular specials are back! Thank you,Chef! Shrimp scampi with homemade pappardelle was my entree and it reminded me of being in Italy with the fresh pasta and largejuicy shrimp. It's a nice cozy place with a counter/bar in front. The service is excellent as is the food though, it is expensive.
I had been wanting to come here for a while now after hearing so many good things about the food and they did not disappoint!... Mike was a super gracious host and the staff was very attentive. We started with espresso martinis which were great, then theamazing meatball bread bowl as an app. The Babe had penne a la vodka with grilled chicken and I had the short rib orrichette,both really good. An amazing restaurant, the food, the people, the service, THE BEST. My family has eaten there almost every week since it opened... and we have always loved the food, the atmosphere and the staff. I must say, they treat everyone like family. WE also cater manyholiday and have always received nothing but compliments about their food. Their hard work, professional ways and love for whatthey do from the kitchen to the front door shines through every time. In addition, we cannot thank Mike and his team enough fortheir generosity to our local hospital staff during COVID. You made every day a little better for our staff during a verychallenging time. CHEF TONY COLOMBO IS THE MAN! We love coming here. We frequent here and have NEVER been disappointed! Everything was delicious... from start to finish- for appetizers we had the zucchini blossoms, calamari, and the chicken parm pizza which were all to diefor. Appetizers didn’t last long enough for a photo! Food was fresh and not too oily or salty. My husband and mother in law absolutely loved that they could customize his Montauk stripe bass to his liking. My mother in law had dietary restrictions andthey catered to her. On to the best part- dessert. The brownie alamode was warm and gooey. The cannoli has homemade ricotta. Andthe cappuccinos just made the night! Before I forget, their decor made you feel like you wear under the stars . One of myfavorite restaurants! Oh and the service is too notch- hats off to Mikey and his brother and Anthony! This was our first time here but would definitely go back. We ate at the bar which we usually avoid but since there were no... tables we decided to give it a try. The staff was accommodating, super polite and pleasant. Drinks were strong and well crafted.And it's pretty awesome when you decide to share a menu item (Momma's Kick'n Chicken ????????) and they split the portions foryou without you asking! Our Favorite place to eat in the area if not all of Long Island! Amazing family run business that truly cares about their... customers. On most nights you will see the owner greeting guests and making sure everyone is content. This level of servicetrickles down to the rest of the staff for a pleasant experience. Not to mention the food is delicious. We've eaten here maybe adozen times and will go back a dozen more! Favorite appetizer is the Thai Chili Calamari. Read more
