Reviews for Campisi's Restaurants | Lovers Lane in Rockwall, TX
No one greets you when you walk in which is hospitality 101. A greeting sets the mood and helps guests feel welcome. I had a... side salad and a small lunch pizza which can easily be shared. The crust wasnt as toasted as I'm used to with Campisis pizza. Read more
Went for lunch yesterday. Ordered a large pizza, split with different toppings. What they brought to the table brought a whole... new meaning to "where's the beef!". I understand there are shortages and such, but this was ridiculous. To say the toppingswere sparse is an understatement. It looked like we ordered a cheese pizza and somebody accidentally dropped a row of toppingson it. Sadly, I am not exaggerating. If you are not going to put toppings on the pizza, you should charge me half of the priceas that is the most expensive part. Read more
In 1966 Campisi’s was the first Dallas restaurant we visited and we loved it. The food is still tasty despite reduced portion... sizing. So why 3 stars? The service was sadly lackadaisical without basic training for our waitress. We ordered wine and twobottled waters. No glasses were served with our large bottled waters. When requested only 2 glasses for the 4 of us drinkingwater. Bread was requested with our 4 pasta dishes; it arrived after our entrees were eaten. Silverware arrived shortly beforeentrees making our salad consumption impossible before entrees. When a waiter or waitress does not ask how our food is or askif we need anything else within 5 minutes of serving, he/she loses or has the tips reduced. It happened here. We sat nearly 15minutes waiting for our check before I flagged down another waiter to get our bill over $100. No tip was deserved nor given!Good food but very unacceptable service. Read more
For a Italian place they are slacking ! Not a large selection of food at all. And the pizza was mediocre at best. Really... disappointed ?? Read more
We had to temporarily re-route our bachelor party festivities to this lovely restaurant. They were the only restaurant open in... the shopping center because of the winter storms. We were so rowdy & loud for an hour while we devoured up to 8-10 pies ofpizza; everything from pepperoni, to supreme pizzas, to pizzas with jalapeños. I liked how each slice was about the same sizeas a standard bread stick! The food was amazing, the staff didn’t kick us out, & it was a 10 minute walk from the HiltonHotel. The walk would’ve taken 5 minutes or less if the roads & sidewalks were not covered in ice. Read more

The food here was pretty good. The salad was just the right size. I just didn't like the parmesan already on it because I'm not... a fan. The pizza had a nice crunch to it. The pasta dishes were delicious according to my family members. The garlic bread wouldhave been better without the cheese melted on it. Read more
This place has awesome food. It has a very reasonably priced lunch. I got the lunch spaghetti and my hubby got the lunch pizza.... They were both great and come with a salad, too. You can even get the lunch price at 3 pm. Read more
