Lunch hour service was very attentive. Food was served hot and was delish. Traditional flavors but thelook was a bit different. ... I had beef enchiladas with rice and beans and a crispy taco. I loved that they had "una senorita calaveras" for Halloween too. Read more

This place is a hidden gem. It?s in a quaint area tucked away inside the historic downtown area. The restaurant is tastefully... decorated (sorry I didn?t get photos?when I saw & tasted my dish?it?s all I cared about at picture time) & has an at home feel. The waitstaff is amazing & the food & margs are impeccable! I had the Mexican lasagna, pictured below & I have thought about itevery day since then. Stop by. You won?t be disappointed! Read more

This place was rocking! My wife and I went here on a double date and it was really good. We just beat the Saturday evening rush... which was 45 minutes. Our server was outstanding and kept our drinks flowing. I complimented Carmen and I was even moresurprised they had only been there since January of this year. Their restroom was very clean and I enjoyed their location andthe great setup. The parking is easily accessible from either westbound Rusk or the 66 eastbound. They need to get their tapworking properly but we were able to work with it. Greatly recommend this place ???????? Read more

This place is amazing! Staff is so friendly and really gives the small town charm vibe! The place is clean (even the restroom!)... and love the layout of the restaurant. The food is outstanding and has so much flavor it put a smile on my face. The price forfeeding five was just around $80 and would have been cheaper had I not ordered alcoholic drinks. Such a great deal! Willdefinitely be going back! Thank you Casa Mama for the wonderful experience! Read more

This was my second time to have lunch at Casa Mama. The atmosphere is great, the food is really good. My wife approved, which is... a plus. She had the nachos with steak? Great! I had chicken enchiladas, One with sour cream sauce, the other with Mole? great, but pretty small. I thought the salsa there was pretty great. The ramekins that they came in were tiny. The owner said to askfor a bigger one next time, I will. Nothing wrong with this place. A lot right with it! Five stars, especially for being alocal, family owned restaurant! Read more

This looks it's the place to be! We went on a Friday night right after the freeze on February 3rd. The place was jam packed but... the staff was grand keeping up. It was easy to step up to the bar and grab a drink while we waited. The waiting area was smallso folks were just trying to cram in where they could. Once the weather is nicer then standing outside to wait will be nice. They will also have the outside seating available as well. Now to the food. The chips and salsa were good. Not greasy and niceand crisp. The salsa was mild but still a bit spicy. I ordered a Paloma from the bar and it was a bit light on the tequila. Iordered the chicken flautas and they were just ok. Not a lot of flavor, might be a good option for a child or someone whodoesn't like TexMex. My husband ordered the Carne Asada with steak. It came out on a hot cast iron skillet and stayed hot thewhole time. The meat was on a bed of onions and topped with cheese. Beans and rice were on the side with a tiny bit of pico. Youcan so get corn or flour tortillas. He said that the cut of meat was a nice cut , not a flat and grisly piece of meat. He askedfor medium and he got medium from the first bite until the end. We enjoyed the atmosphere for sure but I'll try something otherthan the chicken flautas next time. Read more
