Last weekend my girlfriend and I made a last minute decision and decided to stop by and have a late lunch at this location. As... we walked in a young lady by the name of Katie greeted us and sat us at a table. Katie was incredible to say the least and blewus both away. Not only did she take care of us the entire visit but she fully explained everything to us while seeming sointerested in doing so. We watched her play the roles of a hostess, waitress, and busier. She had the best personality,attitude and was very pleasant to converse with. She rocked and I can assure you that we will be coming back because of hercustomer service skills. Thanks again Katie! I've been coming here with my family for years and this was one of the best experiences I've had yet! The new staff they have is... wonderful. The hostess was so friendly, we didn't have to wait for anything, our bowls were cooked perfectly and the manager whochecked on us was super sweet! They were very busy, but ran it like a pro. Great staff. Good prices. Really good food. I went twice and both times we were sort of confused by the menu. The staff was... super helpful both times in explaining how everything worked. The food was fantastic and cooked perfectly. They give you a bowland a bunch of options to build it the way you want. After you have completed building your bowl with the meat and veggies youwant they cook it for you. 10/10 would highly recommend. Read more
OVERALL: THE DIFFERENCE WAS LOCATION I stopped by at the end of an exploratory trip. Not impressed by the last Genghis Grill so... I thought I'd give a different location a try. I was quickly greeted and got my bowl. First difference I noticed was thecleanliness. Much improved! It was not crowded at all but I went in before 4. Also, I noticed that the selection was a littlemore expansive. Could this be because I was in a different, more selective area (Rockwall County), I can not say but I amgrateful. 45mins wait for an appetizer, and when asked the waiter to check my order I was told that he doesn?t make the food he doesn?t... know. It would be nice to get an eta of the wait before sitting down just for an appetizer. If you know you?re behindcommunicate that so I would have the option to go elsewhere if needed.
