You simply gotta try their fish. Idk if you've ever been to long John's silvers but captain D's is better in every respect. I... admit they're similar in some ways, but captain d's gives you more menu choices including tilapia if you want healthy choices.But dang it it's their fried fish is where it's at. You could do the battered fish or country style. You have to do thebattered. It's great when it's fresh. Nice and crunchy, but it actually tastes better imo when you reheat it and it gets softer.Get a bottle of cocktail sauce and you're off to the races. Read more
Love Cap D's . Next time I'll go on a Sunday or Wednesday. You get a senior citizen discount. I got a kids fish meal, enjoyed... it. I wish that they had a senior citizen menu, kinda like the kids menu but for us more mature "kids". :-) Read more
The restaurant itself has a very musty smell and appearance. Employees wheel trash of seafood waste past your table when eating.... That isn't good for the appetite, nor the restaurant's image. Food itself (if fresh) is pretty decent, but considering amajority is fried, prepare yourself with a tums. Read more
Entered and found no one at counter. Waited some time. Ordered 1 two piece fish dinner and 1 three piece fish dinner. Both... came out and as we discovered as we were already eating both of the dinners had chicken. We and one other table were the onlyone there. The place had 2 customers, I had to wait a little bit which would have been fine had my meal been hot. I asked for an order of... crumbles and she went to get them and never came back. I literally had to peel the coating off the fish-it was so thick andgummy. Only things hot were cheese sticks and hushpuppies. 3 customers came in while I was there they literally messed up 2 oftheir orders and also acted like they were lying, questioning them THEN the drive thru had a return customer who said food wasmissing and the lobby got to hear what the front employee and manager. The did a wonderfully great job!!! The manager and the cashier were so nice and made us feel welcome while we waited on our... carry out order. The restaurant was very clean , and boy were they busy. Handled all orders quickly. I highly recommend thislocation to anyone who loves great service and fish of course! Read more
Was really disappointed with this visit more than the last one.... the food is hot and fresh.... that is the only reason I gave... 2 stars.... I am still having trouble wrapping my head around paying almost $10.00 for this meal.... Read more
The food is not the same portion size is small and rice was under cooked also
