Supposedly there are reserved tables, you can call to make a reservation, yet there are tons of empty tables around you during... your meal. Plates, cups and utensils are all tacky because they don't match. Waitress putting hands on my daughter in law as ifshe knows her. Waitresses walking around badgering if you want a refill every 3-5 minutes. Being spoken to as if you're inpreschool. And to top it all off a dog was allowed to walk through the restaurant and sit at the table, no concern for patronsthat could be allergic or the fact that it's unsanitary. That dismisses the quality of the food, but then again it wasnonimpressive. First experience and last experience. Read more
I just moved to Connecticut and found this place on my town?s Facebook page. All I can say is that they do not disappoint. The... food and environment is absolutely phenomenal (I had the Autumn Pancakes and my spouse had the Eggs Benedict). I am definitelylooking forward to many breakfasts here. Read more
Fabulous breakfast and lunch place. I go regularly there for breakfast and it never disappoints. Food is excellent and the staff... can?t be nicer. In addition to a broad menu, they ALWAYS have specials. Love the omelets, but the French toast is amazing. Greatscrambles too! Stopped in this town for some breakfast quick take out. Was happy with my meal .great egg sandwich. And pancakes looked amazing... too. You can dine in. Or take out.free muffins and rolls daily. Coffee was fantastic ???? Read more
I've been a customer of theirs for many years and over that period, my friends and I have had definite ups and downs with both... their service and attitude of their staff. I went back today with two friends after a long absence and ended up walking out. Weweren't allowed to be seated until all of us had arrived, which is an old policy, which was often over-looked in the past. Itwasn't even that crowded so why they made us wait is a mystery. We were ushered to our table and Krystal seated us at a verysmall table, directly under a blasting overhead fan. We asked to move to one of the empty tables nearby and she told us...in nouncertain terms... that "those tables are reserved." I SERIOUSLY doubt that there wasn't another table available. We asked her -twice - to please turn off the fan. She refused. "It's 90 degrees out there, and we need to have the fan on," we were rudelytold. "And we run around a lot in here so we need to have it on." (Even though it was directly ABOVE our heads and in NO waycould have helped her). She obviously didn't get the memo that IT'S NOT ABOUT HER. It SHOULD be about pleasing the customers. Wesaid that we were leaving. "Okay, but you have to pay for the coffee." (Coffee was terrible but my friend paid the $3 and LEFTit). Before we left I went up to the counter where she had retreated and asked for her name. I told her that I was a journalistand would be spreading this story online everywhere I could. "Go ahead," she told me. So here I am, as promised. We went toUncle D's in Berlin, where we were treated to a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere along with a delicious breakfast. I highlyrecommend it. We will NEVER go back to NYPD. Read more
Amazing breakfast, unique and creative ideas. Family owned. This place is honestly the best for breakfast around the area. ... The workers take extreme pride in their products and I am always left full and quite frankly amazed. They make creative and funbreakfast dishes like churro French toast among many others. Overeasy eggs were over medium, not good. Homemade corned beef hash is 5 stars!! ???? ? went back, photo 3, still overmedium,... ordered overeasy. They're a great restaurant, great breakfast and lunch!! Something for everyone. Read more
