Great food, great cocktails with proper portion sizes. The crispy shrimp wrap on the lunch menu was PERFECT. The eggplant fries... are the best I?ve had in CT. Nice place with only decent pizza. No garlic taste present whatsoever and it tasted rather bland. They do have a happy hour... with some delicious appetizers. Their meatballs are amazing and their cheesy balls are also very good. I ordered an Italiangrinder which was huge but rather expensive. A nice assortment of Italian meats but why oh why do they put american cheese onit!!?? As you can see, there wasn't much meat on it at all. They also don't have banana peppers. The chicken parmesan was amongthe worst we've ever had, only saved by the delicious marinara. As you can see, the piece of chicken under it had no cheese orsauce on it whatsoever. It was overcooked and very dry and tough. The breading was at least seasoned nicely, however. I'm nothuge on desserts but I was talked into trying the apple crumb pizza. It was one of the better desserts I've ever had. Littlevolcanic eruptions of butter throughout. The crust was light and airy and it all came together nicely. We really liked it. Tried the garlic bread, salmon, artichoke and spinach pizza, the garlic bread grilled cheese and some adult... drinks. Our waitress was great and we practically cleaned our plates. One complaint is that all of their high chairs are missingpart of the seat belt, but I believe they are addressing it. Will be back! Just when I thought I had to choose what I would like to try on the menu.... they rolled out three different appetizers, one... salad, five signature pastas numerous pizzas and a dessert pizza I almost felt like it was the 12 Days of Christmas song. Alsothey had three different cocktails that were served I did not try the cocktails due to the fact that I don't drink alcohol.Everything taste wise temperature wise was on point of course I had my favorites. Joey's cheesy balls we're on top of my listthe cheese was very soft and melted in your mouth it was beyond delicious. And the pasta dishes you could taste that the sauceswere all made fresh. The pizzas were cooked for perfection they even had cute names my favorite out of the pizzas I got the trywas all loaded up which was a potato pizza. I did enjoy our dessert which was an apple crisp Pizza served with vanilla icecream. I definitely would stop in if I was in the area of Wethersfield. This was a great Yelp Elite event! Read more
Went to grab a drink and snack at the bar. The bartender was SUPER attentive and knew the menu like the back of her hand....
