Wonderful place to have dinner or just hang out with an IPA. The vibes tell me that Gen. Washington once had a few pints here or... even stayed overnight. Nice meal served by a lovely lady named Emily. She reminded me of the song "Sweet Emily" by LeonRussell. In fact, everyone on the staff are sweet people. My companion and I enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We hope to stop inagain soon. It surely is a thrill up on Rocky Hill. Thanks y'all. Read more

Been meaning to try this place for some time; must have gotten my expectations too high, because I honestly found it pretty... disappointing. I got the flatbread and the pub burger. The flatbread was not good. The bread was like a chewy cracker(stale?), and the "pork belly" was mostly hard (not the bits you want as toppings on anything) and bland (I tasted several bythemselves to be sure). It basically ended up being an arugula and pickled onion salad for me. The pub burger was fine. Nothingspecial, except in presentation, but solid (cooked right, all ingredients seemed fresh and tasted good, etc.). The fries werequite good. The water tasted weird. I'm assuming that's because I've just gotten so used to filtered water, and this was thelocal tap. The service was fine (not great, not bad, just fine). Finally, the interior was a bit of a letdown. It does have anice pub atmosphere, but from the exterior and the marketing, you'd think it would be more old-timey/historical. But it'sbasically just your standard pub. All in all, a solid place, but you probably want to stick to traditional pub fare (wings, burgers, etc.) and avoid more modern stuff like flatbreads. Read more

Delicious gastro pub just outside Princeton. The disco fries are NUTS! So good. We got the short rib, and I can't wait to try... pork belly. Burger was pretty good; beers always great. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Read more

I'm not really a review person, but I feel I really need to leave one here. TWO ISSUES, First: We go in once a month or so for... the burgers, usually for take out and I will say, the burgers are OUTSTANDING. The issue is they have a hard time cooking themthe way you ask. A few times times now we get all the way home and burgers we ordered well done are med or med rare. We thenstarted ordering extra well done burgers with hopes they will leave it on the grill longer and still we get home and they aremedium and bloody. The first time this happened, we called and they told us to just put it in the oven for a few minutes....ummm NO, re-make it please... I spoke to the host the last time it happened, and she said "I'm sorry, for some reason they liketo make them medium, your not the only one who complains, and then laughed about it" I mean come on man... get ittogether! Second issue, They make you pay over the phone with a card when you call in a to-go order. Sometimes we are in thecar driving and we decide to call in an order, and they legit will not allow you to just pay when you get there. They say itmust be given over the phone. This really gets annoying and is just ridiculous. Great food, they just have some kinks to workout. We enjoy them so we will continue to go, but I understand not everyone is like us. We just really like their burgers. Read more

We love this place! The Cajun spiced burger patty is a must and can be put on any burger! Only, downside is I have to bring my... own gluten free buns. But they toast it for my burger, so that's nice. Great drinks, and love the atmosphere. The fries areyummy, and the waiters and waitresses are all nice and funny. Good music...bring me back to highschool and early 2000s lol. Theplace is always packed on a Friday. Good spot to chill and have a good time. Read more

The food here is classic pub style fare with a menu with a large selection. Well known for their disco fries and featured on... Guy Fiery's Diners, Drives and Dives. This place is no dive though. Their desserts are made in house as is many of their mainentrees. I particularly loved their salmon burger which was incredibly fresh and hearty. The onion rings were a bit too friedand heavy on the oil but could have been just a poor batch. Service is very friendly, prompt and food arrives hot. Recommenddining here I'd you're in the area. Solid gastro pup food and great beers on tap. It's supposed to be from the 1700* but hard to find anything that old inside.... Definitely go there again Read more

Very homey with such a cool vibe. Our waiter was Mike and he was great! Burgers were to die for! A must try!
