It is so hard to find a good place to eat with good service. Today my husband and I decided to go out to eat. Choosing Dodge... We stopped for dinner a party of 3. It took 10 min before we were seated as they seemed short staffed. Our waitress Leslie was... attentive and was on point. We didn't wait for anything, she seemed to be everywhere assisting others. Great service and hotgood food. Read more
As far as service is concerned it was great. Food, not so much. Presentation and quality lacked in comparison with the price.... The restaurant is nice and beautiful inside but tables and presentation of plates were short to be desired. No condiments ontables. Just bare and dirty. Plates came out dirty and with Styrofoam bowls. Why use them. Made the plates look bare and fastfoodish. And food appearance was also lacking. Corn looked brown and spoiled, red skin mashed potatoes watery, and steak had noflavor. Which made the taste ok. Food appeared and tasted to be like frozen ready to eat. Fantastic restaurant. Food was really good. Steaks were a little overdone with our meals but our server asked us to check them... immediately and took them back to get a new one in about 10 minutes. We had a family of 6 and had to wait a few minutes but wellworth it. What a great gem of a place. Will definitely be coming back again! Read more
I don't frequently write negative reviews, and I'm afraid today I have to leave one. While the restaurant has a great location... and the interior is clean and well maintained, it was surprising to find it empty on a Friday night for dinner. We figured itwas just lucky timing for us. We got a fried onion appetizer, a grilled chicken meal, and a pork ribeye with the apple chutney.The onion came with significant blackening across the onion, though spots that were not burned were decent and the sauce wasnice. It felt like something we had cooked ourselves instead of restaurant quality. The pork chop had so much burnt pieces fromthe grill on it that it actually colored the plate gray as I cut into it and the chutney gave me the distinct impression that itwas past it's time... The chicken was okay, though it had some of the same grill remnants as the pork ribeye, just not asmuch. Our waitress, while sufficient in bringing us our food and bill, was fairly inattentive and I wish she would have askedus about our food, or otherwise paid any mind to the fact that everything we ordered was only lightly touched at best. I,personally, don't have the heart to flag people down to complain but I would have been honest had she asked. A moot point now,but I'll own my own responsibility on that front. Overall, we are fed but disappointed and will not be returning. Hopefully itwas a one off, but this was our experience today. Read more
