I bought a chicken and beef meal with rice and 2 sides. Looking at the presentation on the menu I thought "Hey! Good deal for 17... bucks. When the meal got handed the meat portion is scarce. 1 pc of small chicken thigh and 3 pcs of thin cut beef, 2 scoops ofrice and small portions of the sides. I recommend Edo Japan over this. I?ve eaten at Koryo for years. But something isn?t right anymore. I literally gasped when I saw the price. Like other reviews... suggest the quality has gone down. I am sharing an experience that happened to me at this restaurant in Sunridge location 4 years ago. I only just realized they... blocked this review because they gave me food poisoning and so I am posting it again. I have never been back since thisexperience. Normally this place (I thought) served quality food. Until yesterday when I excitedly accepted the cook's GENEROUSamount of extra Beef Ribs (should have realized something was wrong right then). As I sat down to eat my with friend, after awhile, as i was biting into another piece of beef I felt my stomach churn. Leaving my friend, my phone, my bag, my purse,EVERYTHING, I ran for the public washrooms and spent the next 2 1/2 hrs in agonizing pain as FOOD POISONING tried to claim mylife in a gross public washroom! I'm not joking. If I had been an elderly person or a young child I probably would have died itwas so severe. The meat must have been going bad which is why the Koryo cook gave me SO much of it. It took 20 minutes to get food after ordering. They have 1 person working the cash register and another working the grill. Do... you really need 2 people to scoop rice and sides? They were just standing there and staring at the order slips while doingnothing to speed up the process. Also, thanks for scooping the rice and sides 18 minutes before I got my order. I reallyappreciate you letting my rice and sides chill down to room temperature just so you could think you're efficient. The positive is that sauce was good, however the portion of meat was soooo small for the price. The amount of meat for the bbq... sandwich filled at best 1/3 of the bun, but more likely 1/4. Posted a pic of a sandwich cut in half and you can barely see anymeat. I watched the cook cut the tiny bit of meat with scissors?not meaning it was unclean, but just so measured.
